Positive: Everything was perfect! The rooms were beautiful, very comfortable and had a lovely design. The pool was always spotless and it was clear that it was very well maintained. The breakfast offered a great variety of options and we really appreciated being able to order the coffee we liked. What made our stay truly special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, especially the lady at the reception. She always greeted us with a smile and was happy to help with anything we needed. They made us feel at home, and that's something you don't come across very often. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely love to come back!

Summary: A perfect stay with exceptional hospitality, we felt at home from the moment we arrived.

Positive: Property is located right in the centre, a few steps away from the cathedral, bridge and river side. The property has a nice design and was very well kept and clean. They also have a nice coffee shop at street level, where a good breakfast is served. This part of Amarante is beautiful and romantic and is worth a few days visit if you are in the Douro region. Porto Airport is some 40 minutes away.

Negative: The toilet was squashed between the wall and the vanity unit and though I am not a big person it was still very uncomfortable. On the first night there was a street party with very loud music till 3.30am, this is not the hotel's fault but we were utterly annoyed as we could not sleep.

Positive: A place of perfection. Little room very well equipped and designed with a river view. Every detail is made with love. The bed is comfortable. The staff is very friendly, great people tasty boutique breakfast on a balcony with a view there also is approval which we didn’t use because it was called And a yard and to rest. I was happy.
