Positive: Amazing sea views Spacious house with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms Calm neighborhood and parking spot Beach equipment (fins, balls, rackets, umbrella, air mattress, googles...) Kitchen equipment with some basics like oil, salt... Big table inside and outside Huge terrace Really helpful host that goes an extra mile
Negative: I would not call these negatives, but worth to know: Car is mandatory to get anywhere, streets are very steep. House stairs may be a limit to some people. Does not appear in google maps, may be tricky to find in the night.

Positive: We have been many times to Andalusia but this was far the best accommodation we have ever had. We stayed six days at Casa del Mar which is a two storey townhouse on the top of a hill with east facing bay windows and breathtaking views of the bay with La Herradura. We were having breakfast on the beautiful spacious terrace with vibrant coloured flowers, deep blue sea with reflection of the rising sun in the background every morning. We planned a lot of sightseeing tours during our holiday but we ended up staying in the house for two full days just to chill out, basking in the sunshine and reading. We went out for running and hiking on the local coastal route and beach every day. There are amazing views of the sea and the cliffs only just a few minutes walk from the house/ you need the climb through a small wall at the sharp bend at the end of the street to find the path up the hill to Mirador del Cerro Gordo / The downtown is only ten minutes drive and there are plenty of grocery stores, excellent restaurants and bars nearby. The house and kitchen are fully equipped, we had everything we needed. There are two bedrooms upstairs, one with two single beds and the main bedroom with a double bed. The beds were comfortable and the neighbourhood is quiet, we had great sleep every night. When you open the balcony doors and shutters in the morning the sun is flooding in. It was an absolute Paradise for us, we are dreaming of retiring to a house like this. The owners Marcos and Teresa are lovely people, after a few WhatsApp messages we ended up meeting them on our last day for a tapas and guided city walk in Granada. We had a great chat and night out with them.
Negative: We made a mistake to book the house only for six days, we should have stayed at least for two weeks to see all the recommended landmarks and try all the adventurous activities. We will definitely return!

Positive: What a great place to stay at to finish our Spanish holiday. Great little place, spotlessly clean, very well stocked/equipped & we loved the sundeck with views of the coast - a great spot for a family meal or just a glass of wine. Excellent communication from Marcos & Theresa, including great tips for restaurants & beaches. Would definitely stay again.
Negative: Really nothing, but if we were picky then a better hairdryer & toiletries would be the only things. Everything else was perfect!
Summary: A fantastic place to spend a few quiet days by the beach.
