Summary: Cristina's apartment is in an excellent location, only five minutes from the beach and Lungomare, and a short walk to Bordighera Alta and all the sights. it's a charming place with views of the hill behind and the neighbour's lemon and orange trees from one side and to the Bicknell Institute on the other. A comfortable spot to be in a quiet neighbourhood.

Summary: I've stayed in a number of places in beautiful Bordighera over the years, and this apartment is simply lovely! First is location - close to the lungomare and the sea, to the great markets and shops, cafes and restaurants, the cinema, Bordighera Alta (the medieval gated city) and so many walks in the hills. Remarkably despite its central location, the apartment is very quiet and peaceful!Another highlight of Casa Grandis is the attention to detail in the apartment's furnishings. Windows and sunlight are everywhere in this airy, bright apartment. The main bedroom is large and comfortable with good quality linens, a beautiful view, and small desk by the window. A well-equipped kitchen is a pleasure to cook in and the dining table looks out on the hillside and terrace. Generous couches on which to recline make the kitchen a cozy retreat. The second bedroom, though small, has another wonderful view and fantastic breezes waft in through the window -- the fresh sea breezes of Bordighera are legendary! Meanwhile the bathroom is spacious and comfortable with a good shower and full size bathtub decorated in stunning period tiles. There is ample storage space in every part of the apartment. Finally, Cristina, the apartment's owner is an excellent host. The house has been part of her family for many years and is filled with love. Cristina kindly responds to questions, provides lots of local advice and knowledge is responsive to her guests. What a wonderful stay! I will be back!

Summary: Bordighera is a laid-back, pleasant town at the Western Ligurian coast. The property is ideally located, everything is in walking distance, in particular the nice Lungomare boardwalk. The apartment is well-kept and part of a local neighborhood. Ideal if you want to feel like an Italian. The owner has a wealth of recommendations for the area. Overall a very nice stay.

Summary: Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay at Casa Grandis very much The property is perfectly located close to the beach, the historic area and the many restaurants/stores that made our trip very convenient. The space is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was lovely to have coffee/tea on the balcony in the morning, then wine or an Aperol spritz in the evening before heading out to one of the many delicious restaurants minutes away by foot. The air conditioning made it very comfortable to sleep and cool off from the summer sun. We would definitely stay here again and recommend Casa Grandis without reservation. The owner was very helpful and took her time to recommend many local restaurants and the check in/check out process was easy and Diana was very kind and punctual. Bordighera is a very beautiful and quaint gem of the Italian Riviera that offers all of the beauty with less crowds as some of the other places on the beaten path. We fell in love ❤️

Summary: The apartment is identical to the photographs. Nicer, really. The main bedroom is a dream. Spacious and airy, with excellent bedding and lots of space for your clothes. The living room is lovely, and sports a very well-equipped kitchen, complete with tons of utensils, crockery and a dishwasher. It opens onto a nice balcony / terrace wide enough for 2 ppl to have breakfast. My favorite room may have been the bathroom, though. Most beautiful tiles ever. The washing machine works perfectly. The whole place is so clean you could eat on the floor - Thanks again, Cristina ! Cristina welcomed me with a huge smile and every explanation I could need. There is an elevator to the 2nd floor. The neighborhood is very elegant and safe. And convenient : 5 min from the beaches, 5 min from the old town, and a stone's throw away from a really nice hiking trail. It was just the perfect place for a two weeks holiday, my 1st break in 3 years. Recommendations around the house : Corte, the ice cream place at the crossroads down the street is the best in town. While I tried all manners of restaurants, fashionable and not, I never ate better than at Il Cappero, an unassuming place that does the best grilled calamari on the coast and arguably the best pizzas in Italy. On the seaside, the Paloma 2 offers really unpleasant service unless you're Italian, but the food is top notch. Also, their sea beds are cheap. Anyway, I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Had a gorgeous time.

Summary: It was so great! The place is so clean, beautiful and spacious. We loved staying there and would be happy to return some day. It is close to the beach ( about 7 minutes) and to the train station. Cafes and merkato nearby. Everything was perfect.
