Summary: Very neat, clean, updated property. Host Greg is great. Need a car to get to town for restaurants. Decent sized grocery store and food truck court at end of street, 5-10 min walk. Beach is 5 min walk down street.

Summary: Casa Ladera Upstairs was even better than the listing shows. The beach 2 doors down had beautiful sea glass and, on a calm day, excellent snorkeling. A very tasty food truck is an easy 10-minute walk and our favorite grocery store is just around the corner. Beds were comfortable. Night noises -- waves crashing, frogs, were magical. The pool is gorgeous and the owner keeps everything very clean and tidy. It was a great vacation for me, my husband, 15yo and 12yo. It's hard to maintain a property in these tropical conditions, but this one is in great shape, nice and clean, good showers, excellent AC. I would definitely book this property again.

Summary: Our family of five had a great time staying in the upstairs apartment at Casa Ladera. We utilized the beach chairs and cooler that Greg provides for day trips to the beach, and also enjoyed lots of pool time at the house. The apartment was very comfortable, with individual AC units in each room. The laundry is just outside the apartment and is shared with one other unit, but that was not at all an issue for us. The location is close to both Isabel II and Esperanza, so everything was easy to drive to. Greg is very accessible and provided us with everything we asked for.

Summary: This was the most amazing vrbo stay be ever booked. The property was beautiful and the surroundings were gorgeous. I loved watching lots and lots of iguanas along with my kids. The property had amazing views and last but certainly not least Greg, the host and the owner of the property was super helpful, responsive and accommodated us with all our needs. Would definitely come back for another getaway!! God bless.

Summary: 2nd time back to this house and had an excellent vacation. Greg is a fantastic host who acquired the property since our first visit in 2019. Great communication and very welcoming on arrival. Stopped by frequently to maintain the property and check in with us. 2nd floor balcony is a very relaxing place to enjoy the view. Large saltwater pool is simply fantastic! An absolutely wonderful place to vacation! Just a short walk or ride to great beaches and the Biobay is not to be missed! Look forward to returning in the future!

Summary: Our stay at Casa Ladera was awesome. The property was very nicely situated with an ocean view and breeze. The upstairs was very clean and comfortable, including the beds. The kitchen was well appointed and there was even fresh ice in the freezer. We really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony during the evening and using the giant pool. Greg was the best host! He even brought us for groceries the first night upon our arrival as we were unfamiliar with the area and didn't have a jeep yet. Throughout our stay, Greg was a text or call away and was quick to respond to any questions (all of which were general Vieques questions not issues with the house). Additionally, Greg put us in contact with local services such as taxis and made great recommendations on restaurants and activities. He provided a digital guidebook that was very useful. We definitely enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book this property again.

Summary: This was everything anyone could ask for in a vacation rental. Shared pool with two other units. Had plenty of time to ourselves and were fortunate that other guests had kids our age and they enjoyed playing together. Short walk to beach and view of ocean from the rental. Owner was quick to fix any problem and working hard to prevent any. If your on the fence choose this place.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Casa Ladera. The location is great. It's walking distance to a good grocery store and food trucks serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a beach close by which is nice for walking and sitting but was too rough for swimming while we were there. The pool and outdoor area is very nice. I found the kitchen to be severely lacking in cookware which make cooking a challenge. Luckily the people in the lower apartment lent us some pots and baking trays which helped. During our stay there was a plumbing issue and I have to say the caretaker of the property was exceptional in dealing with the problem. She handled the issue quickly always with concern for our experience. If we return to Vieques I would stay here again but I might choose the lower apartment - it's better equipped.
