Summary: Casa Magdalena is so beautiful. We were in awe of the building and our room. We had everything we needed, and the stay was absolutely beautiful, we almost didn't want to go and do anything else around San Carlos. Everyone was warm and kind. Finding the place was easy, and there was off-street parking. It was a perfect stay.

Summary: This place is a gem. It is a beautiful bed and breakfast, hacienda style. Easy parking. The location is at the only country club in San Carlos. Safe, gated community. The golf course directly behind it (it is on the 8th hole) is going through changing hands and is in a pretty much unusable state. But that doesn’t detract from the charm and beauty of this place. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in San Carlos.

Summary: What a find ! This place is a gem ! Sooo beautiful, peaceful, clean, and safe with gracious hosts and healthy, yummy continental breakfast. And regular hearty breakfast, if ordered night before with small extra charge. Small refrigerator kept our drinks cold for entire stay. Pool so clean, but we were there when air temps were not real hot. Gas fireplace for the cool evenings. Mattress so comfortable, I slept better than I have in months. Felt like our own vacation home ! Exceptional, special place.

Summary: Casa Magdalena is absolutely a hidden gem in San Carlos! I am A single woman that drove down from Arizona with my dog and even before I was on my way, we had communicated over the phone so I felt a sense of security. Cecilia greeted me as soon as we arrived and from there on it was just a perfect experience. My dog was more than welcome and they were very few guests so it almost felt like I had the place to myself. Even decided to spend an extra night because it was so relaxing and peaceful. Highly recommend this beautiful oasis in San Carlos.
