The kitchen and living room are spacious with high ceilings, tropical hardwoods, and polished concrete throughout the home . Plenty of sun-drenched windows and glass doors let in the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach.
There are two “master bedrooms” one with a impressive sliding barn door and the other is a private master suite. Both air conditioned master bedrooms have king beds and bathrooms with rain showers with on demand hot water. The “Boardroom” also has a king bed , air conditioning, and has room for secure surfboard storage. The ceiling fans and the ocean breeze keep the house cool throughout the day. There is also a safe for all your belongings.
The house has a large gourmet kitchen which is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances , gas range, microwave , and a dishwasher. Beautiful handcrafted wood accents and furniture make the home feel modern and tropical. An island that seats six is perfect for dining and entertaining.
The large outdoor patio is partially covered and is perfect for lounging and dining. A large Guanacaste tree provides shade and palms and tropical trees cover the property. Winding up the spiral staircase to the rooftop deck is great spot for stargazing.
This property is exactly what you need to getaway and unwind on a secluded beach. Located a short walk from the house is a private sandy beach. This beach is great for beginners and experienced surfers. Spend your downtime swaying in a hammock reading a book or beach combing looking for seashells and sand dollars. At low tide check out the tide pools! Don’t forget to bring a mask and snorkel to see the tropical fish! Go fishing right off the beach or try casting off the reef. Explore the community on a beach cruiser bike or check out the many different surf breaks a short walk from the house ( auschillo, hemmies/ the point, chiggas, robins right, and ranchos)
Within the development of Finca Del Mar is Los Cordones Eco Lodge and Restaurant. The lodge offers yoga , solo and couples massages, surfboard, fat bike rentals, beach front hammocks, shady palapa's, horseback riding , and a un-forgettable sunset surf! A round of golf at the neighbouring resort of "Gran Pacifica" can also be scheduled with cart and clubs or a guided fishing trips with Captain Dan. If you wish to explore Nicaragua from your new home base, day trips can be scheduled from the lodge. Volcanos, Local markets, coffee plantations, and tours of neighbouring cities. Los Cordones also has a turtle nursery where throughout the year you can witness turtles laying eggs , or better yet - newly hatched turtles crawling back to the ocean!

Casa Palmera is located an hour and a half drive west from Managua and our property manager can arrange pickup to and from the airport or anywhere in Nicaragua.

Summary: Great 3 bed house / property.... I can’t say enough good things about this place - great service and communication from the start. - Safe / secure / private property and surroundings - House .... 3 bed / king size with A/C Fully loaded to cook and entertain if need Also comes with a washer dryer for longer stays.... recommendations.... for longer stays - grab food and supplies for your stay - grab a claro chip as there is no wifi in this house.... yet - if you need to go outside this community .... for surfing or other Nicaragua adventures, which I highly recommend you do! Ask for Elvin as a driver!!!!! Very professional also can chat English with you if needed Thanks again for the place and experience!

Summary: This was exactly what I needed. Everyone I encountered during my stay had been friendly and helpful. Only issue I can think of is the critters but escaped without a bite. Thank you to Janelle and thr staff at Los Cardones for an amazing trip and I look forward to my return

Summary: Relax, surf, eat, massage, eat, surf, relax. That about sums up a day staying at Casa Palmera and popping down to Los Cardones Eco Lodge. We stayed at Casa Palmera this past Fall and were over the top impressed. The property manager was awesome and made sure we were set up for success. Having access to Los Cardones Eco Lodge was amazing and easy! But the best part was being able to comfortably settle into Casa Palmera and enjoy it for the beautiful house that it is. It felt better then "feeling just like home", it felt like being in a dream home (with high end amenities, beautiful handcrafted furniture, and soft towels). Highly recommended!

Summary: A friend and I rented Casa Palmera as part of a Nicaragua surf tour. What a beautiful stop with all the amenities. The home is very open and the kitchen provides ample space for cooking and entertaining. The property manager made entering the home, our stay, and our activities all easily accessible and even set up transportation for us. The cruiser bikes allow you to access everything close by within a short bike, the surf racks made our morning trek very small. Highly recommend this rental for anyone looking to see the northern part of the country while still catching morning waves and home cooked breakfast.

Summary: My girlfriend and I rented Casa Palmera for two nights in November. We absolutely loved it! The house is beautiful and the location is incredible. It is very spacious and well designed for either entertaining or just chilling out. It was just the two of us but you could comfortably share the house with 3 couples. The woodwork in the house (kitchen, bedrooms, doors) is beautiful and you can see the attention to detail in the design. The house comes with 2 cruiser bikes complete with surfboard racks so you can get to the beach. It is a very quick 2 minute bike ride or a 5 minute walk to Los Cardones Eco Lodge, where the surf break is. The property manager made our arrival and stay completely seamless. She made us feel right at home and was available if we ever needed anything. That made us completely comfortable. We really enjoyed our time in Casa Palmera and look forward to returning again soon. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and beautiful place to stay.

Summary: Casa Palmera is a beach house well worth the rental. Close walk to the beach and Los Cordones Surf Lodge. You can hear the waves crashing from the house. The lodge has board storage so our routine every morning was to wake up and stroll down to the beach break. We would have our boards in hand and in the water within 10 minutes of leaving the house. Really going to miss that morning routine. The coffee and breakfast is also fantastic at the lodge after a surf. The house has high end wood finishes and all the amenities you would need. All bedrooms fitted with AC and fans for comfortable sleeping. The roof top terrace is massive and gives a great vantage point over the area. We are already planning our next trip down. This place surely will not disappoint.

Summary: Can't say enough about casa palmera! So close to the beach you can hear the waves crashing at night :) the place is huuuuuge , beds are comfortable and AC was nice to have. Los cordones has a really good vibe and great for anyone trying to get away from the everyday race. Thanks so much for having us! We already talking about our next visit :) cheers
