Positive: Casa San Ruffino is a fantastic place. The hosts Carina and Peter makes you feel extremely welcome. Dinner is great. Breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had (maybe the best). Rooms are very nice and so is the pool area. A lot of small medieval cities in the area. If you look for a relaxing vacation, this is the place to go.

Positive: First, the views from the property were amazing. You can easily sit outside and enjoy the views of the rolling hills, hill towns (i could see at least 4), the mountains and a working sheep farm. The hosts Peter and Corina were perfect. They can give great advice on what to eat, see and drink, but they are not overbearing. For example, we drove to Casa San Ruffino from Rome and when I arrived we were tired. So they let us rest, much appreciated. Breakfast was fabulous. Each day Peter wiped up a different egg dish along with cheese, meats, veggies and fruit. Peter is a real Iron Chef in my book. Not to mention, the breads the are made by Corina who is an outstanding pastry chef, are not to be missed. The rooms are extra clean and comfy. If you ever consider visiting Le Marche, and you should, the Casa San Ruffino is in a perfect location to visit beautiful hill towns, yummy restaurants and of coerce fantastic small family-run wineries.
