Summary: The island itself was absolutely perfect โ€“ beautiful, peaceful, and exactly what we were hoping for. Unfortunately, the amenities at the cottage left much to be desired. The hot tub, which was one of the main reasons I chose this property, was unusable for 2 of the 3 nights I stayed. When reaching out to the hosts, their response was underwhelming at best. The first complaint led to a "fix" which allowed the hot tub to be used one night, the second complaint the host simply stated that they hoped it "didn't ruin the evening" rather than offering any real solution or compensation. Communication was lacking throughout our stay, which was disappointing. While the location was wonderful, the overall experience fell short due to the unusable amenities and poor host response.

Summary: Castaway Cottage exceeded our expectations! The location is an easy 2 minute walk to the beach and dining is an easy 3 minute golf cart ride. The owners outfitted the home to perfection. We loved our stay and look forward to another visit soon.

Summary: Myself, my husband and our twin boys age 8 stayed from Dec 23rd - Dec 28th, 2024. and Yes even after 2 hurricanes we still went! and with zero regrets. AMI came a long way in 2months of hard work.Dan and Lori were great! They kept me informed and up to date with status of repairs because of hurricane damage. Any questions I had prior to arrival with status of island, places open etc. They got back to me same day. This place was perfect for us. Everything we needed was there, the pool was great and ready for us. A quick 2mins walk and we were on the beach. The golf cart we used everyday which the kids loved! It was an all around great place to stay & will definitely visit here again. Thank you Dan and Lori :) Hope 2025 is a great year !

Summary: This was hands down the best service ive ever experienced even better than most hotels! The property managers were so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. They had a ton of amenities and they even blessed us with a bottle of wine and champagne for our honeymoon! I definitely recommend this place to vacation we will be back for sure!

Summary: Perfectly lovely, well put-together, homey, full of amenities, including beach amenities, comes with goofy wheelbarrow to haul chairs and umbrellas and miscellaneous crapola to the beach plus a goofy golf cart tor tool around within a few miles, and everything is within a few miles. Managers were welcoming and helpful.
