Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Really wonderful place. We had an excellent stay here! First off, the property is absolutely beautiful. The large outdoor area, the house itself, and the decorations are all simply outstanding. Our suite was very spacious - two large rooms, a room with a toilet, and a room with a shower and two sinks. The furniture was tasteful and everything was very comfortable. Bonus points for some really interesting antiques. Breakfast is available for an extra cost and we ate it everyday because it was just so convenient and delicious. Location is good - about a ten minute walk to the center of the village, from where there are quite a few restaurants and a bus stop to take to Ghent. Finally, the hostess went above and beyond to make us comfortable. It feel less like staying at a hotel and more like staying with a friend. Whenever we need a place in town again, this will be our go-to location.
