Summary: Voor de 2e keer in dit prachtige verblijf. Nu in de herfst. Genieten van de rust en ruimte. Alle faceliteiten zijn aanwezig voor een ontspannen tijd. Hou je vast rust, ruimte, natuur en stilte dan is dit een zeer geschikte plek. De reuring van durby is dichtbij. Openhaard maakt het in de avond zeer gezellig. De Wi-Fi is zeer goed, dus contact met de gevoelsmatige verre buitenwereld is snel gelegd

Summary: Een grote vakantiewoning in een landelijke omgeving. Veel ruimte in en om de woning en uitzicht op de paarden. We hebben met onze 4 kinderen erg genoten.

Summary: Wij hadden geluk met mooi weer toen we hier verbleven en daarom kwam de prachtige omgeving helemaal tot zijn recht. Absolute rust kan je hier vinden. Het huis was proper en mooi ingericht, je kan zien dat ze er werk van hebben gemaakt en niet zomaar wat meubels erin hebben gezet die niet bij elkaar passen. Slaapkamers waren ook ruim en het is fijn dat er 2 douches zijn voor 8 gasten. Het enige minpunt vonden wij dat de muur tussen de badkamer en grootste slaapkamer slecht geïsoleerd is, waardoor je het goed kon horen als iemand het toilet doortrok of de douche gebruikte. Ook de verwarmingsketel onder de kamer springt s nachts geregeld aan, wat vrij storend is. Ook waren er te weinig tuinstoelen. Voor de rest kunnen we eigenlijk niets slecht zeggen over deze woning, wij hebben er alvast van genoten!

Summary: Het huis is geriefelijk en ligt heerlijk tussen bossen en weilanden met paarden. Er is een flink terras aan de zonzijde met een grote eettafel en stoelen voor 8. Met uitzicht op de heuvels. Veel vogels. Het huis ademt een rustieke, boerderij achtige sfeer en heeft een royale eetkeuken. De keuken is goed geoutilleerd er is bijvoorbeeld een staafmixer (maar een broodmes ontbrak). Er zijn 4 twee-persoonsslaapkamers (met goede bedden) en 2 douches en 1 ligbad. Twee wc's, waarvan 1 in een badkamer en 1 apart op de benedenverdieping (begane grond). Daar is ook de een douche, wat een beetje onhandig is. Er is wifi, maar niet in alle kamers. De woonkamer is wat eenvoudig ingericht. Je moet met de auto naar de bakker er zijn er twee op een 6/7 km afstand. Ook voor boodschappen moet je op pad er is en enorme Carrefour in Aywaille. Via de autoroute ben je er zo. Je kunt veel wandelingen maken vanuit het huis en in de verdere omgeving er zijn veel wandelkaarten in het huis. Er is een goed werkende houtkachel van de beheerder krijg je een flinke mand met haardhout. Aanmaakblokjes en lucifers zelf meenemen. In Ferrieres is een leuk pleintje met een biologische bakker en een friettent. In dat dorp is ook een Delhaize, die goed voorzien is. De beheerder is heel vriendelijk en woont er naast, in de andere vleugel van het 'chateau' dat eigenlijk meer een wat verwaarloosde herenboerderij is. Al met al zeker 'good value for money'.

Summary: We were 2 families for a short weekend. The space was perfect for 4 adults and 4 kids. The kitchen is well equipped however the plates and cups were not very clean. The bathrooms are comfortable and clean. The bedrooms have enough space although the mattresses were not comfortable (anymore) Its however a very nice place in the middle of nature.
