Positive: It was very walkable, pretty easy to understand where everything was. Able to swim in the ocean and snorkel so that’s nice. Buffet Food was really good with lots of vegetarian options. The plantains were awesome. Front desk staff was very kind. Booking excursions was easy and that staff was nice too! Met some super friendly people who were also staying there and made some good friends
Negative: Our first room had a lot of bugs and the AC broke so we suffered for 3 days in 26.5 Celsius (almost 80 Fahrenheit) until they finally let us switch rooms. Didn’t offer airport pickup so it costed 160$ USD to take a taxi because the airport basically only lets taxis and buses come up. The kids run WILD and jump in the pool splashing everyone and their drinks, parents don’t say anything. IMPOSSIBLE to make dinner reservations unless you are on your phone at exactly 8am and make it by 8:05am. All of the restaurants were so hot, looked at the thermostat and it was 90 Fahrenheit INSIDE!! Have to reserve pool chairs very early too, got our towels swiped too.
Summary: Definitely a bang for your buck, but just don’t get the comfort room, pay the extra to upgrade at least one level

Positive: The hotel was beautiful. The grounds were very lush, the food was great and a huge variety, and the staff were super. Comfy bed and lovely rooms.
Negative: Our room in the Riveria backed onto a service walkway and every morning around 5am a truck would back up and the carts going back and forth sounded like thunder. I was ill one day and phoned to see if I could get a snack from room service, but it's not available to anyone who isn't a "Privalidged or exclusive" traveler. (Says 24-hour service on web) At full capacity, there were no sun loungers available anywhere.

Positive: The property was beautiful and the rooms were very nice. We loved all the restaurant options and the location of the resort to shopping and additional restaurants within walking distance.
Negative: Although beautiful, the shoreline at the resort is very short and we prefer a long sandy beach as we enjoy taking walks up and down the beach.
Summary: Overall, this is a great place to stay. We had a wonderful time!

Positive: It was clean and easygoing. The crepiere was delightful. The staff lovely. Too many favorites to name. Food : plentiful and satisfying. Dessert was fun to try the various choices. Pool was clean. Ocean view was gorgeous. Lots of activities but plenty of places to relax too. Loved our room location.
Negative: Couldn’t get into the special restaurants during the week unless it was very late. We’re not 9:30 dinner people. Rocks on the beach make going in and out of water challenging. Pool should be open later, at least one.
