Positive: Good location, nice and peaceful. Lovely brickwork
Negative: Loads of cobwebs! Not the cleanest place. I asked for some balloons to be put out for my partner’s birthday and offered to pay for this. My request was simply ignored.

Positive: Beautiful outlook. Lovely features. Private parking. Views of hills from 2 bedrooms. Comfortable Double with en-suite shower. Comfortable spacious twin room. Good sized kitchen with all you need and dining room. TV in both the sitting room and room to the front (hall). Property was warm, very easy to turn temp of heating down to suit our needs. Good walking access to Cheddar village and surrounding area. Supermarket nearby.
Negative: Third bedroom with bunk beds very small. Headroom on lower bunk very low. Difficult to open the window for fresh air because the bunk is against it. Bathroom: Surface of bath could do with renewing.
Summary: Good facilities. Situated in Cheddar villlage. Easy to explore surrounding area.

Positive: Good central location within Cheddar and Cheddar is a good base to go out from. Good access to the town and the gorge so it wasn't necessary to walk. Older style, but none the worse for that, and comfortable with good enough facilities
Negative: Parking is a nightmare - the gate is tiny and the walls are stone. I drive an ordinary sized car and I had to manoeuvre every time I went in or out, and the scratch down one door shows it wasn't always succesful. Not good for anything bigger than a mini. The third bedroom isn't a bedroom. With bunks in it the available floor space is the size of a bath mat. It's recommended for children but the sash window opens at bed level and leads to a 12ft drop straight into the road.

Positive: Location was great for the Gorge and local amenities. Plenty of space for th family, I say in the 'porch' area with a glass of wine every evening.
Negative: The place could do with a lick of paint and a new kitchen, it felt tired. Parking is a challenge. If you have a medium+ size car I would stick to parking in the road. The third bedroom is very small with bunk beds, The top bunk proved useful for my teenage daughter to actually store her stuff that didn't go in the drawers.
Summary: Nice place for the family though looks tired and outdated inside.
