French cottage, newly remodeled and upgraded. Located on a quiet part of Cayuga lake, within short drive from Ithaca, Syracuse, Geneva and Auburn. In the heart of wine country this serene setting will help you recharge. Fishing, boating, swimming. The cottage is rented as a whole unit, all areas are for you to enjoy with the exception of the boat house. The cottage is located right off Highway 89 making it very easy to access all the local wineries and local restaurants like O'Mally's, Toro, Knapp and Buttonwood Winery, and the Boathouse Beer Garden. Also within one mile of Dean's Cove boat launch. Beautiful setting for water sports, fishing, hunting and touring local wineries. Great dock access for boating (boats not included) and/or swimming, etc. Property is just 30 miles from the Watkins Glenn racetrack and 15 miles north of Taughannock Falls park.

Summary: The property was awesome! House was beautiful, clean and inviting! We loved spending time on the deck and fishing the lake. Beautiful views! Neighbors were super nice! Matt was awesome to work with and he always responded so quickly!! We would absolutely stay here again!!

Summary: This was our first time in the Finger Lakes and we can’t wait to come back again. Lake Cayuga is beautiful and the house sits right on the lake. The kids spent their time at this house jumping off the dock and swimming in the lake. We rented a pontoon boat, went to wineries and the Seneca State Park to name a few activities. The house has everything you need from toilet paper to utensils and pots and pans. The house is clean, good WiFi and the owner was great to deal with. Highly recommend!

Summary: Our stay was amazing! The house was actually even cuter in person and was plenty of space for three women to have their own room and sleep comfortably. We loved sitting out on the deck overlooking the lake and having morning coffee & dinner outdoors. The location is perfect, right in the middle of a ton of wineries and with a craft beer garden across the street! Definitely recommend this place.

Summary: We loved staying at this sweet house! Spacious, bright, happy - not sure the pictures do it justice. We were pleasantly surprised! Great location to many wineries, breweries, shopping, and fun! Deck and Dock were perfect for many hang out sessions and bonfire pit was perfect for each night! Kitchen is VERY well stocked - everything we needed! Had a group of 8 adults which was a little tight, but we all knew each other well, so it worked out! Would definitely stay here again...favorite part were the sunrises and sunsets and access to water. Awesome! Matt & Mythia were very helpful, flexible and knowledgeable!

Summary: We were a week on Cayuga Lake with our twin teenage grandsons to attend a family reunion. This house served as our home base at the end of long days spent with family. The cottage is clean and well supplied with everything you could imagine needing. Although we ate only breakfast in the cottage, I could imagine easily preparing gourmet meals. The attention paid to the tasteful decor was a plus and made us feel very much at home. Thank you Matt and Mythia for sharing your lovely cottage with us. I am already hoping to plan another visit to this lovely spot and beautiful home.

Summary: This quaint cottage was the perfect staging point for our long weekend of family, friends, and wine. Beds were comfy. The sound of water lapping the shore through open windows was the perfect lullaby. We had a couple of needs to contact the owners while we were there, but were met with a prompt response. Wifi was fast. We didn't try the TV. There was a band playing across the street at the Fri and Sat, but they were finished early. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll revisit...

Summary: I thoroughly enjoyed the week I spent at Matt and Mythia Allen's beautiful lake house. First of all, the location is perfect for visiting the wineries and other attractions in the Finger Lakes. Upon entering, I found the cottage to be tastefully decorated and very clean. The kitchen area is very spacious and has everything you need to make you feel right at home. The large deck is very accessible, and you have a spectacular view of beautiful Cayuga Lake. I was relieved to find there were only a few steps leading down to the lake front and dock. No need to bring chairs and floating devices (rafts, tubes, etc) as the shed is well-stocked for your enjoyment. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, and friendly neighbors make you feel very welcome. You can sense that the owners, Matt and Mythia, take much pride in their property and their hard work and efforts have paid off. It is ideal for families or couples. It is not very often you can find a rental that accommodates both. I highly recommend this lake house, and hope others enjoy it as much as my family did.
