Positive: It’s a family-run hotel with its own history, surrounded by a beautiful park where deer come by in the mornings. The lit fireplace in the breakfast room creates a very cozy atmosphere. There is also a possibility to charge an electric car. The beds are comfortable. After a long journey, we enjoyed the champagne, which tasted like ambrosia :). Thank you, Marie and Olivier.

Negative: Breakfast had everything we needed — it would have been perfect with some ham. The toilet was separate, but that did not cause any inconvenience.

Positive: The location was hidden close to a residential area with plenty of space for parking. We stayed in a smaller house opposite a Chateau which was self-contained, comfortable, warm. We asked for their recommendation for a restaurant and they very kindly made the reservation for us. It was a few minutes away, small and intimate, with extremely good food. Breakfast the following morning was very good and we discussed with the lady of the house the history and renovation of the Chateau. An extremely enjoyable experience, and highly recommended.

Positive: Charming chateau, very friendly hosts who provided helpful recommendations. Good French breakfast in bed and breakfast style at one large table together with other guests. Free WiFi available, which worked well.

Negative: Our room did not have an en-suite toilet, which was not super clear to us from the posting. Also there is some sort of very loud pump becoming active when the toilet was flushed - especially during night time that was too loud.
