New modern chalet for 4 people. Ideally located in the woods between Oignies-en-Thièrarche and the French village of Fumay. This chalet has a modern living room with sofa, dining area and modern kitchen. The bedroom with a double bed is located at the back and has a large sliding window with a view of nature. The children's room has bunk beds and a DVD player. The living room has very large windows that open onto a very spacious terrace. Everything is provided to fully enjoy the peace and nature, which is why the terrace is not equipped with a railing, making it less suitable for very small children. The house has a very modern kitchen, but no TV and no internet. Pure peace and nature, with many hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity. Snow chains are usually necessary during snowfall. The house has no extra energy costs, due to the use of solar panels, underfloor heating and extra insulation.

Summary: Al 3 dagen geen water. Dus ook geen wc of douche. Geen hulp anders dan telefonisch dat er gebeld wordt.

Summary: Prachtige locatie en prima gîte midden in het bos. Wel even wennen aan de stilte, maar dat ging snel. Hier kom je zonder t.v. en WiFi heerlijk tot rust. De woning is ruim en geeft een rondom zicht op de bosrijke omgeving. Wandelen/fietsen kan direct vanuit de woning.

Summary: Leuk huisje in een prachtige bosrijke omgeving zonder het gevoel te hebben in een vakantiepark te zitten. Redelijk afgelegen, rustig, wegje naar het huisje is niet overal in even goede staat maar doenbaar. Hier en daar kleine opmerkingen over het onderhoud van het huisje (bv veel schimmel op siliconen in douche, geen rookmelders in gebruik,...) Los daarvan een super leuk verblijf gehad in een mooi en goed uitgerust huisje;

Summary: Het huisje is echt fantastisch met grote ramen waardoor je altijd van het bos kunt genieten. Mooie, ruime slaapkamers met fijne bedden (kinderslaapkamer is zelfs voorzien van wat teken spulletjes en boekjes). De douche is ook top! We hebben in het weekend dat we er waren de Grotten van Neptunes bezocht (ook leuk voor kinderen) en zijn naar Roc la Tour geweest in Frankrijk. Echt een aanrader!

Summary: Het Verblijf zelf was leuk en goed. Het huisje was in orde en de locatie is fenomenaal. Helaas liet de afhandeling van de waarborg serieus te wensen over. We kregen immers bericht dat onze waarborg geblokkeerd werd omwille van een gebroken ovenschaal. Ik had die schaal toevallig bewust zelf nog gezien de ochtend van ons vertrek. Ze was toen in goede staat. Na een mailtje in de hoop wat verduidelijking te krijgen en zelf uit te leggen dat die schaal dus in orde was toen we vertrokken, kregen we het bericht dat de kuisploeg had bevestigd dat de schaal in orde was voor ons bezoek gestart was, wat ik dus zelf ook al had laten weten. Ze vroegen of ik fotografisch bewijs had van mijn versie. Wat ik niet had aangezien wij vertrokken waren in de veronderstelling dat alles in orde was. Er was geen reden toe. Dit zijn altijd moeilijke woord tegen woord situaties, maar ik had toch op een commerciëlere afhandeling en communicatie gehoopt. Zo hebben ze ook gewoon een restbedrag teruggestort, zonder een afrekening, bewijs of begeleidende mail. Ik weet dus niet hoeveel ze voor die schaal hebben gerekend. Als dat mijn waarborg - het teruggestorte bedrag is, hebben ze veel te veel betaald ervoor ( Ik ben werkzaam in de electro-retail en ben goed op de hoogte van de prijzen.) Eigenlijk heb ik zelfs geen bewijs ontvangen dat ze daadwerkelijk een schaal hebben gekocht, of dat die schaal wel degelijk stuk was in de eerste plaats. Ik ga er natuurlijk vanuit van wel. Maar uit principe zouden ze dat toch mogen laten weten. Ik heb er tenslotte ( naar mijn mening onterecht) voor betaald. Ik blijf het echt een jammere ervaring vinden. Want deze afhandeling kwam als donderslag bij heldere hemel. Ons positief gevoel over de vakantie is daardoor toch aangetast. Wannes

Summary: Een fantastische mooi huisje in een geweldige omgeving. We kunnen enkel in superlatieven spreken. We hebben geen mooi weer gehad, dus daar kunnen we het niet op steken. Het is er gewoon super mooi, rustig, heerlijk ontspannend!

Summary: Great beautiful modern little house and a great venue in the middle of nature. There are other holiday cabins in the vicinity but it doesn't sploil the feeling of being in nature at all. Not cheap but would definitely recommend a stay! Only the bunk bed in the second bedroom needs to replaced. It makes way to much noise.

Summary: Een zeer fijn chaletje, mooi interieur met kwaliteitsvolle materialen afgewerkt. Zeer lichtrijk dankzij de grote raampartijen die het natuurgevoel naar binnen brengen. Altijd aangenaam warm door de vloerverwarming. Geen inkijk, geen lawaai, puur rust en genieten.
