Chambers Delight is a beautifully remodeled 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home in the Chamberlands neighborhood. This amazing home has everything you'll need to enjoy a spectacular vacation in Tahoe and is a great place for entertaining! The kitchen is spacious and boasts granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, wood flooring and is well-equipped for everyday cooking.
There's beautiful Alder wood cabinets and doors throughout the home, updated bathrooms, also with granite counter tops; and amenities such as washer, dryer, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, television with cable in the living room and smaller television in the king bedroom downstairs, wireless internet access and a large stone (gas) fireplace in the living room.
Upstairs, you'll find the kitchen, dining room, living room, half bath, primary bedroom with a king-size bed and attached bathroom with tub/shower, and the second bedroom, which has two twins. There are also two decks, both equipped with patio furniture and a gas BBQ (summer only). Downstairs are the other two bedrooms, both with a king-size bed. The bathroom is in the hall and has a tub/shower. Lastly, there’s a large laundry room with washer and dryer.
This home is just minutes to Homewood Mountain Resort, Palisades/Alpine Ski Resort and Northstar at Tahoe ski areas.
SUMMER ONLY (mid-May until mid-September): One of the best amenities this home offers is membership to the Chamber's private beach, pool and tennis club where you get to enjoy the benefits of the white sandy beach, swimming pool and tennis courts. Shuttle bus available to get to and from the beach.
This home can accommodate up to 8 people maximum (including children).
This home does not allow any parties or events as this home is in a residential neighborhood, and quiet time is from 9pm-8am. Thanks for your cooperation!
There is an electric fence system at this house to protect it from bears when unoccupied. Detailed instructions will be given to you once booked. There are also exterior security cameras present to detect bear activity when no one is home.
Linens and towels are provided for your stay, however, you may want to bring spa/beach towels, as those are not provided.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was good, walking distance to the lake. Property itself would show better if some of the furniture was removed and decluttered but it was clean. Dishwasher did not do a good job cleaning dishes and gas grill only had 2 out of the 3 burners working after having a hard time lighting it. The downstairs did not get warm for the guest occupying those 2 bedrooms. Beds were comfortable. Management responded quickly.

Summary: We had a wonderful start at Chambers Delight. The location was perfect for us as we didn’t prefer to be in the hustle and bustle of South Lake Tahoe. The peaceful surrounds provided easy drivable access to hiking, fishing and to a beach by the lake. We didn’t make it to the private beach as we couldn’t find parking and didn’t want to wait for the bus. Lots of cute, smaller restaurants and markets nearby. Or treat was having a small bear wander through while I was reading on the deck (he didn’t stick around). The house itself was great for our party of 4, but could accommodate a few more. All the supplies we needed for grilling on the deck and relaxing for a few nights in.

Summary: Chambers Delight was the perfect base camp for our Tahoe family getaway! With 50 plus years vacationing on the west side of Tahoe we felt right at home in Chambers. All our favorite hikes easily accessible and who doesn’t love the beach and pier at Chambers. Cabin slept 7 of us comfortably and had all the comforts of home! Would definitely stay here again.

The home is clean, updated and fully stocked with plenty of towels, extra linens, and kitchen items. All of us thought the beds were probably the most comfortable beds we've had in a rental! We took our young girls, ages 8 and 5 to ski at Homewood Resort, only a couple blocks away. We highly recommend this resort for families, our instructor was phenomenal! It wasn't overly crowded, no long lines when getting our gear, food or lifts. It snowed all weekend for us so when we weren't skiing we were playing in the yard building snowmen and sledding. We didn't see any bears, but appreciated the electric fence just in case! The fireplace in the living room was a powerhouse! Loved how warm it kept us while we played games and puzzles in the evenings. Management had great communication throughout our stay and check in/out was a breeze!

Summary: We stayed here in February with another family for ski week. The house was great. Open and comfortable. Great kitchen with all the tools. Location is very nice and quiet and just a short walk to the lake. Was very pleased with this rental.
