Step into a classic A-Frame in the quiet and peaceful neighborhood of Chamberlands, with access to the HOA amenities! These include tennis, pier, pool and private beach access. A shuttle runs during the summer, every 30 minutes, giving you quick ride to the action.
With a huge front deck and large glass windows, the natural light pours into the cozy living room and kitchen. Unwind and escape in this cozy open concept living, dining, and kitchen space with gas fireplace. Sleeping accommodations for up to 6 people across 2 bedrooms, it s the perfect family home or weekend getaway for friends. A king bedroom and one queen bedrooms fill the main floor with a shared bathroom, with a loft (accessed via ladder) featuring 4 twin beds.
D.L. Bliss, Sugar Pine and Emerald Bay are all just a short drive away and there is hiking trails walking distance away. In the winter you are just 15 minutes to the Sherwood Access of Alpine Meadows ski resort. The front side of Alpine Meadows and Palisades Tahoe are about 30 minutes away.

Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

* This is a non-smoking home.
* Pets are not allowed at this home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 6 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came for 3 nights on Christmas break. It was an amazing experience, with the cabin being a huge part of this.The cabin looks exactly as described, with 3 double bed rooms and a cute little attic with single beds for the kids. All the rooms were clean and tidy.The living room is very comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with everything needed, so we could cook and serve our own meals easily.The heating easily heats the entire cabin and everyone were very comfortable at night.The wifi worked great and we were able to stay connected despite not having cell reception in the area. The cabin also has a landline phone for making calls if the reception does not allow it.Two things to notice when coming: download the lockbox code before going up the road from HW 89, since you will not have cell reception at the door. And make sure to turn off the electric bear fence at the little green box next to the front door!

Summary: There were more than enough spaces to sleep for my family of 4 + mother. We were there on a particularly hot week, but house stayed cool with the number of fans that were provided. Will recommend to friends who ski at Homewood often in the winter.

Summary: This was the perfect size rental for two families and our 3 children. They loved sleeping in the loft (keep in mind the only access is by a ladder). The main two bedrooms are large with plenty of room, the third bedroom is smaller. The location is perfect, it's about a 15 minute walk to the private (or public) beach, but we drove to the beach most days. The HOA pool is a great benefit. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed! The large deck in front was perfect for barbeques!

My kids loved occupying the loft and having their own space. The kitchen had no more or less and one would need and we celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas there.

Summary: Nice location, the lake was really close by. Great location which allowed us to explore all of Lake Tahoe without having to drive so far back to the rental.

Summary: Very nice A frame in Chambers subdivision. Would be great for family with older kids as the third story is reachable by ladder! The best thing is in Chambers you have access to their private beach and beautiful pool!
