Positive: When we arrived in the area we thought it was lovely and peaceful neighbourhood. Are accommodation was like living in a little house extension with all the facilities anyone could need . From a big kitchen and bathroom to the lovely bedroom and living room . It was very clean and a nice walk from the tube station.
Negative: There was nothing we didn't like .

Positive: Host was helpful and gave good check in instructions. The apartment was lovely and clean - plenty of toiletries, tea/coffee available which was appreciated. Ickenham is a very nice place and has numerous tube stations within walking distance. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay - thank you!

Positive: The property was better than what we expected! There were lots of extras that we didn’t expect. Plenty of drink options, good variety of teas etc. there was also biscuits and a chocolate each left out for us. Spacious accommodation and very clean. Comfortable bed with extra blankets if needed, plenty of towels and toiletries. There are also throws to use if you are sitting on the sofa. There is also a small terrace at the back for smokers and car parking on the drive if needed (we paid £5 for overnight). The accommodation is accessed by collecting a key from a key safe in the porch of the main house which was easy to do. The access code is texted to you shortly before you arrive. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely look forward to staying there again in the near future. Very good communication with the owner/manager who was a lovely lady.

Positive: This, for me was a very convenient place to stay to visit a friend and was comfortable, accessible, spacious and well appointed with a comfortable lounge, bedroom that could sleep three, a small private patio and largish kitchen. Parking available on-site and access without disturbing anyone. Nice nibbles left in kitchen.
Negative: Encountered a very disappointing problem shortly after booking and paying, I was contacted by Booking.com to say that the price was obviously incorrect (not sure who it was obvious to) and that I needed to pay another 26%. If it hadn't been for the fact that my friend that I was visiting is seriously ill and there were limited options in the area, I would have cancelled as a matter of principle. I have used Booking.com for a very long time and am a very regular customer with usually a number of bookings in the pipeline at any time. Booking.com blamed the owner for this who of course blamed Booking.com. This was at best disappointing although in fairness the owner gave me free parking. This is something that they need to resolve between themselves so that it doesn't happen again! TV has very limited channels and no sign of a Wi-Fi code but I was too busy to pursue this.
Summary: Nice place to stay, but marred by the pricing issues.

Positive: The place is quiet and comfortable for long and short term stays. My friend and I stayed over 15 days and the hospitality was very good. Closer to public transport and on the ground floor. The property has most of the appliances, facilities required for a long stay so short term stays are definitely great. It's a safe property inside a gated compound. It has a double bed and a single bed so 3 people can comfortably sleep here. Kudos to Rosie for a constant update about everything.
