Summary: Tony was a star. Decorated the house for our Christmas stay wonderfully. Very well equipped house, but the main thing was that it is a magical house and grounds! I was expecting it to be brilliant but we all said it it far exceeded anything we could have wished for. Plenty of space and inside and out!! Thank you so much. Jane and family

Summary: We found Horsepool Farm very easy due to very good instructions from the owners. A Private driveway leads you to the Farm on the left down another driver to the House. We were blown away by the property and their was plenty of space for us all, the bedrooms were of good size and it was perfectly cleaned and lovely and warm. The front room had 3 sofas so plenty of room for the family to gather in comfort, the kitchen is well equipped and unlike some rentals we were not charged to use the logs available for the fires. We all just loved our stay here, mobile connection is random so great to have a landline in case of emergencys. We highly recommend The Greyhound Public house for Asian Cuisine, they also do take away from their menu of over 40 items. Very very nice. The Greyhound has their own website to view the menus, English also available. Ickworth House is pretty much a brisk 15min walk away, with a pathway of 7 miles to walk or ride your cycle. We were very lucky to sight a young deer on the lawn right outside the house one morning, but all of us were not fast enough with our cameras to take a shot. A well deserved 5 Star property.

Summary: We hired the cottage for a weekend to attend a wedding. A beautiful homely cottage with all home comforts. Well equipped like walking into a family home. So peaceful and a beautiful outlook to spend time outside. Would love to spend a winter weekend there, hope we can.

Summary: After being let down last minute on a property for my wife's 40th days before a bank holiday weekend I managed to find that luckily Horsepool cottage was available after contacting Tony. A cleaner was arranged last minute to clean the property prior to our arrival leaving it spotless. When we arrived (a surprise for my wife) we drove down the very very long track and arrived at the house. We were blown away by the fantastic huge laws and being in such a lovely remote location. Once friends arrived all the children instantly went off and played until dark in and around the garden (without asking for wifi or can I watch the tv) Outside we sat on the wooden patio furniture overlooking the pond drinking wine whilst being able to keep an eye on the children and then moved inside when it got chilly to light the wood burner in the lounge. The house has amazing character and is tastefully decorated with showers in two of the en-suite bedrooms and a downstairs toilet. We were very lucky with the weather but if you need wifi or the full Sky package to keep you entertained it was there along with the lovely open fire and wood burner and plenty of seating in the lounge along with the 42inch flatscreen tv and great sound system. Along with our friends we regularly rent houses each year to go away and get together but have never found anywhere which ticked all the boxes for us and left us feeling so relaxed. This is the perfect place to unwind and relax and in the evening pop to the local pub (the Greyhound) to try amazing range of homemade curries and local beers with friends and family which we were very impressed with so worth a visit without a doubt. We will be back for sure again hopefully this summer. Thanks Tony

Summary: Spent a very relaxing week at Horsepool. Rustic French farmhouse feel inside and out with children and doggie free to roam right outside the door. The starry nights were amazing and we all left feeling recharged. The farm is beautifully isolated but close enough to amenities to restock or keep the children occupied if the weather is not so kind.
