Positive: Excellent location for trips around the Cyan Coast using public transport and to experience Nice and the local cuisine! Nice little apartment.
Negative: No air-conditioning, just fans if you can endure the noise day and night and the church bell ringing across the street from 7am till 11pm. On the 4th floor and no lift. Windows begin too low from the floor and no safety measures in place. All sleeping and living spaces are open-plan, so no privacy. It leaves a bitter aftertaste you are charged on arrival 25euros/person in cash for new sheets and towels, but you get used ones. Check-in is 4pm-6pm. We were asked to confirm check-in time multiple times and even then the host was late. You get charged if you check in after 6pm. Check-out is way too early by 09.30 am and you are asked to take out linen and towels and fold it and place them in the shower room by 09.30 or once again extra charges...

Positive: The Apartment is located in the port area. The port area is very good in regards to food and restaurants, and it is fairly close to the beach and old town. The apartment has a fully functioning kitchen so you can cook your own food if you like. The host is a wonderful lady, she was super helpful.
Negative: This will be tough. First of all, there is no Air conditioning system in the apartment. So you need to open all the windows if you do not want to have a heat stroke. And opening the windows comes with a lot of issues, let's start with NOISE. The area is extremely noisy. There are waste trucks, motorcycles, buses drunk people making all sorts of noise in the middle of the night. On top of that, there is a church right across the apartment and the bell tower is facing the apartment. It starts ringing like crazy at 7 a.m. If you are a family with small kids, good luck with putting the kids to sleep. Another issue is the mosquitos. Because you cannot close the windows due to heat, they are everywhere. The apartment is located on the 5th floor of an old building without an elevator. If you have pieces of luggage, it will be very difficult to carry them up and down. It is even challenging to go down to buy some groceries. We arrived around 9 p.m. and had to pay a 50€ additional fee to get the keys. On top, we had to pay 25€ per person for sheets. I was informed by a message from the host about these additional costs which I still believe ridiculous for a hosting service. Whatever cost there is, should be included in the price I saw in the booking.com listing when I chose the property. So if you are not young and have kids and value your comfort, this might not be the best choice.
Summary: Noisy area, No A/C, 5th floor and no elevator.

Positive: A very small and cute little apartment! Perfect location and very clean! The host was so sweet and gave us some goodies when we got there. Definitely would recommend staying here!
Negative: There were 4 flights of stairs to the apartment and the additional fees for the bed linen and towels we felt should’ve been included.

Positive: Very good location . We reached by tram from airport . Beautiful view from the window . We only didn’t like that we had to pay extra for towels ( 25 aed per person ) would be more fair just increase the price and don’t charge people on the spot .

Positive: The location was good: the tram was close by, and buses to Monte Carlo leave right next to the house.
Negative: There was hair on the beds. After arriving home, we paid an extra 25 euro for towels and bed linen for per person - that means extra 100 euro. (Aren't these basic things that should be included in the price we pay when renting the house? :) )

Positive: Nice accommodation, clean, well equipped, spacious, central position(in front of the harbour).
Negative: Accommodation was at the 4-th floor, without elevator. The second bedroom was just a bed upstears....no intimacy. We could not to turn on the tv and the owner told us that we didn't know to use it. We paid for the towels and linen extra fee (it was specified în the reservation...but we would prefered to see all fees together). Extra charge for being late.

Bedsheets: After booking I received a message stating I’m supposed to pay 22eur per person for bedsheets It wasn’t possible to bring our own ones to avoid the charge 2. Cleaning: The day before check out we received a message saying that we’re supposed to remove the bedsheets ourselves, fold them and the towels and put in the bathroom Also, we were supposed to clean the dishes and take it the trash (which is reasonable), but despite having dishwasher, the detergent was absent If we failed to do that we would have been charged 88eur “for cleaning” In my opinion, when paying such high price for the stay and also cleaning fee, you’re not supposed to do it on your holiday 3. Check in: Very small window for check in, and impossible to do it on your own (take the key from a locker, how most of the hosts do) And if you’re a bit late even within the check in window they’d say they can’t wait 4. Check out: In every message and in house rules in the flat it was clearly written that we’re supposed to leave the key on the table and slam the door However, the host briefly told something different on the first day and got mad when we did it as was stated in written communication They should be consistent in their communication Beware and your stay should be okay
