Summary: A lovely cosy bungalow with plenty of space and great access to all the interesting places on Orkney. Would be even more perfect if there was just one extra loo, maybe installed in part of the large utility room. Otherwise a perfect holiday house!

Summary: came for another wonderful trip to Orkney. Accommodation was good with plenty of room. Felt it could benefit from a 2nd toilet/bathroom. the rooms were very spacious. more wardrobe /hanging space would be good in twin rooms. The dishwasher and washing machine were both very clean as were the bedding, which was on comfortable beds. We were very pleased with this choice and would be happy to stay here again. Sadly, while we were there, muck spreading was in progress, however, this didn't impact on the aroma of the property. it was strange having the living room and kitchen so far apart, however the comfy chairs in the dining end of the kitchen, this made it feel comfortable. If its windy, the wind can be very strong, so care might be needed when opening car doors. parking was good, right outside the door

Summary: This was a comfortable rental with everything we could want for our week's stay. We particularly liked the rural situation with a short distance into Stromness. It was an ideal location for exploring Orkney. One small negative detail--the furniture showed considerable staining due to heavy use. Other than this, everything was clean. The property is very suitable for families with young families and a dog.

Summary: This beautiful house has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It’s a home from home and there is nothing that hasn’t been thought of. The house even has toys, which we didn’t use because our children are much older, but even so, they are there if needed. There is a dishwasher, a washing machine, a freezer, wonderful drying facilities and even an iron and a hairdryer! The beds were oh so comfy and everything was perfect. We had dealings with both Kerry and Tara, who were absolutely delightful and couldn’t do enough to help us - thank you, Kerry and Tara. We were able to use the garage to store our bikes as well. The views from the house are amazing and the location of the house is perfect too - just out of Stromness but you can still see the whole of it. Perfect for people who want to take their bikes as Stromness is close enough to bike down to. Overall, this house is absolutely amazing and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing holiday, in a house that has everything you will ever need to make it so.

Summary: A very spacious and well equipped property just outside of Stromness with lovely views across to the harbour and hills. Very conveniently placed for visiting the main neolithic sites and for catching car ferry to Hoy from nearby Houton. We had a delightful time at the property - a wonderful base for our stay.

Summary: We had a great week in this very comfortable bungalow. The views are great and it is very well equipped. It is easy walking distance to Stromness - just over a mile along a farm track and through the industrial estate to a path by the school playing field. Kerry and Tara could not have been more helpful. We would definitely recommend it.
