Summary: This apartment was utterly amazing. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The host/rental agency was super friendly and very responsive. They helped us book a private water taxi to and from the apartment, and met us upon arrival (it’s difficult to find the first time). The location is fabulous and steps from a market/grocery store. It was walking distance to everything we needed, and close to all the tourist attractions, but “remote” enough, it was peaceful and quiet, and I truly felt like a local. My favorite part was being on a canal (not the Grand Canal, but still a busy canal). It was beautiful and the small balconies were so peaceful! I loved every moment and will definitely come back to stay here!

Summary: Great apartment right on a canal. Balconies off the living room and bedroom are small, but big enough to fit a chair to read a book or just watch the canal traffic go by. There is are vegetable/fruit, butcher and grocery shops vey close by to cook in the well stocked kitchen. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. We left the windows open at night to hear the occasional boat past by and listen to the waves lapping up against the buildings. Management was very responsive with great communication and if you let them arrange a water taxi from the airport for you, it will drop you off at a small piazza just steps away from the apartment. Only thing missing for us was a measuring cup for cooking :-)

Summary: The property was perfect for my wife and I. We were able to cook some meals as well as enjoy many wonderful restaurants all within a 5-10 minute walk. We also were pleasantly surprised that it was during the first week of carnival so the costumes and masks were really fun!!
