Summary: The apartment had just the perfect space to accommodate our family. It was easy to walk to great restaurants in the area. Parking was a bit challenging though

Summary: Mathias was a gracious host, kindly leaving snacks and drinks for us, in his lovely penthouse apartment. All the communication was friendly, clear and very prompt too! The apartment has a spacious lounge and kitchen, perfect for relaxing with friends, and all the fixtures and finishes are very clean and modern. The area is also great, with lots of local wine bars, coffee shops and casual dining etc.

Summary: This apartment is exactly as advertised and just as clean, modern and organized as it appears. Mathias communicated clearly and checked in with us upon our arrival and halfway through our stay. The laundry was a bonus and we had lots of room to spread out with three real bedrooms and a fourth room with a sofa type thing. Thereโ€™s a tiny balcony with charming views that made the climb up 5 floors totally worth it. This area is a little like Brooklyn but quiet and not crowded. Every coffee shop, bakery, cafe and kabob shop we found added to our happiness. The metro is right at your feet and a full grocery store was fewer than 10 minutes away on foot. Access to the place outside of normal hours was easy. The instructions were very clear. 5 stars!

Summary: Pros: 1. Clean and nicely furnished 2. Great location close to metro, 1 stop from central station. Great groceries north a cross the square. 3. Cool neighborhood vibe. Lots of ethnic restaurants. 4. Host was instantly responsive when I messaged him on the VRBO app. 5. The private roof is amazing! It was still a bit chilly for our visit, but in the summer it will be pure magic to sit up there each night. 6. Pretty well equipped for cooking. Even had a nice convection oven. Cons: 1. It's on the 5th floor, or 6th floor as they count in the US. At any rate, it's 11 flights of stairs. We're pretty fit, but if you have to do it twice in a row it's a lot. 2. Low ceilings...the owners post shows this pretty clearly, but if you were talk it might be a bit of a pain. 3. Sharp raised door jams on the floor, especially the bathrooms. We all stubbed our toes a few times before we wised up. 4. Laundry is washer only, so drying has to be a creative exercise. No iron and ironing board. Overall we really loved this place and loved Copenhagen.
