Positive: We loved all of the natural wood! It was built so amazing and the cabin itself was beautiful! We were highly impressed with how well it was built! And our host had a basket of complimentary snacks!!! That was an amazing touch! The bed comfort was a little hard but if that’s your preference then you should be good.
Negative: What made this stay not so pleasant, was being right next to the train. That was horrible!!! I had mentioned it to the host and she did tell me that they have ear plugs and a noise machine in the room. That was nice but no kind of ear plugs or noise machine could drown out the horn of a train when it’s right there! It was beyond terrible. We got woken up multiple times throughout the night and it made it hard to go back to sleep. So my husband and I got like a few hours of sleep both night, which effected our time together and what we did the rest of the day. Also some of the towels weren’t cleaned, so after taking a shower I used one of the towels to dry off and noticed a bunch of dog hairs all on my skin. So that sucked! Also I had spilled some of my mouthwash on the bathroom floor so I went to go clean it up, and the toilet on the bottom and back wall were not cleaned at all, there was dog hair and dust on the back of the toilet and floor. Maybe that’s nit picking but if I or the person before me is paying a $90 cleaning fee I expect the place to be clean. But again I guess I wouldn’t have seen it if I hadn’t spilled my mouthwash. Overall the place was clean and super cute!
Summary: The cabin was BEAUTIFUL but the train ruined our stay!
