3 Bedroom Cottage in Letham Grange, By Arbroath

The Chauffeur's Cottage is a lovely spacious cottage with tranquil views -it has been graded 4* by visit Scotland and all three bedrooms have en-suite or private bathrooms and there is a downstairs WC as well. It is situated about 4 miles from Arbroath. There is a large yet cosy sitting room with plenty of comfortable seating for everyone and a log burning stove. Outside is a private terrace with outdoor seating and BBQ with path directly into Kinblethmont woodlands.
It is in the heart of the idyllic Kinblethmont Estate surrounded by woodland filled with birdsong yet is well placed for visiting many of Scotland's tourist attractions further afield From the cottages there are farm tracks and walks (or bicycle rides) through woodland or up the hill from where there are extensive views of the Angus hills and the sea. There is a golf course next door and beaches, birdwatching, fishing, horseriding, historic sights and tourist attractions all available locally.
On the estate a few minutes walk away is the huge walled garden play area with play equipment, table tennis, badminton, volleyball and football area.
The Chauffuer's cottage sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms - A double with en-suite shower room and 2 twins ( which can be made into doubles) there are 2 extra bathrooms. We can also provide a zed bed to sleep an extra child.
It can be joined to the neighbouring Studio which has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms to give a large holiday house sleeping 10.
They are next door to historic Kinblethmont house a private residence that occasionally hosts art exhibitions showcasing local artists.

Summary: excellent place to stay with the family, very spacious for 5 adults and one 3year old, nice and quiet. the woodland walks and walled garden was great for our little boy to play and explore. the property was very clean and well equipped. excellent value for money.

Summary: The Chauffeur's Cottage was as close to perfect as possible. Its located in the country outside of Arboath, but made the perfect home based for our time exploring the Angus area, plus was an easy drive from St. Andrews and the othre course in Fife. We can't wait for an opportunity to return.

Summary: Chauffeurs cottage is a beautiful haven in the country. On its own estate it is incredibly peaceful and mostly you can only hear the wildlife - obviously this means a car is a must. The cottage is fantastic, fully equipped with everything you could need. Communications with Jessica were excellent. The walled garden is a great bonus and my 79 year old mum played badminton and on the swings there for hours with her grandchildren creating memories we will never forget. We visited Arbroath, Broughty Ferry and Edinburgh. Amazing holiday, amazing cottage and even amazing weather.

Summary: We have stayed three times at this cottage . The cottage is very comfortable and clean ,well equipped and spacious .It is set in a beautiful rural location and you can see deer and squirrels close by . Our kids loved playing in the walled garden . Communication is excellent with the owners . Would highly recommend .
