The Mill Rose Garden Cottage- come stay in a peaceful garden setting, situated just 2 blocks off the heart of the historic Old Town district of Half Moon Bay with easy walkability to award-winning restaurants, boutique shops, galleries, farmers market, festivals and so much more! It is also a short bike ride or slightly longer walk (1 flat mile) to the pristine beaches and coastal trail where you can ride or walk south towards the Ritz or north towards Pillar Point Harbor/Mavericks. We offer electric bike rentals to make this a pleasant and leisurely experience. After your daily coastal adventures, relax in the brand new (Oct 2022) hot tub and/or head downtown for a drink and/or appetizers, or enjoy an afternoon tea in the front garden and make your own appetizers in our well-stocked kitchen. No parking problems, we have plenty of street parking.

Summary: We loved our stay at this little charming home! The house was clean and the amenities were in good condition. A few simple items seemed to be missing from the kitchen, like a cookie sheet or hand towels, but for the most part we were able to easily make do. One nice feature was provided coffee pods. Everything went smoothly except the communication seemed relatively delayed when the internet and tv weren’t working for half of our stay. Despite reaching out numerous times and receiving multiple messages promising to come first thing in the morning, I still had to reach out because they did not come or fix it and they didn’t fix it until our last evening. They were somewhat apologetic but just not very prompt on following through with when they initially said they would fix it which was a bummer for the student that was with us who had planned on connecting to the WiFi and for wanting to watch tv during our stay. Over all we would come again but would just make sure the WiFi was working upon arrival and bring some of your own towels to ensure a seemless stay.

Summary: This little house was adorable and just right for two couples. We loved that we could walk to town and you can even walk to the ocean, if you want a long walk. The kitchen was well appointed and we were so happy to find that there is a half bath in addition to the full (we were ready to grin and bear sharing one bath for a long weekend). The TV remote was a little hard to figure out. Overall, very comfortable and cute as can be. And the location cannot be beat!

Summary: Enjoyed a nice getaway weekend with our pup. The inside of the house was as advertised, very cute and clean, and the location in town was great, however, the curb appeal and yard definitely needed a lot of love.

Summary: Enjoyed our stay in Half Moon Bay. The cottage is in a great location for shopping, restaurants, and walking. The property is well maintained, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It will be our first choice on our next trip to Half Moon Bay.

Summary: My sister and I had a wonderful time in Half Moon Bay. The home was spotless, everything you would need in the kitchen to cook a meal and the beds were super comfy.The host was super attentive and responded very quickly.
