Summary: My Mom and I take an annual trip. We visited Nova Scotia this year. New Glasgow was a convenient place to stay the first few nights. This home was lovely. It is in a nice location. The beds were very comfy. The kitchen had all that we needed. Definitely recommend.

Summary: Enjoyed our stay in New Glasgow and nearby Pictou. Great research room in the New Glasgow library. Also, it’s worth visiting the ship Hector in Pictou. Love old houses, we had four adults. In Iowa we have tornadoes, Apparently, in Nova Scotia you have hurricanes! Interesting to watch and the house was very secure. Host was kind to allow extra time for safe travel. Plan to visit again!

Summary: The house was lovely, but the main attraction is the host. Tina was incredible, she handled all of our scheduling issues like a dream and made the process far less stressful. We we travelling for a replanting restoration project and couldn't have asked for a nicer stay!

Summary: We had a great 10 days in New Glasgow visiting family and friends. House was large and spacious and very clean. The hosts were wonderful and responsive. Location for us was prime- close to family, shopping and the beach! What more could you ask for?

Summary: Having spent some childhood years in New Glasgow on the same street as this house, I was delighted to find I could stay there this time. It's convenient to everything. Grocery shopping, banks, cafes, the Samson Trail... it's all within a very short walking distance. And if you must drive, things are really only a very few minutes away. Melmerby Beach is only about a 20 minute drive. The house is really spacious and clean, and the beds are SO comfortable! The kitchen is large - it really was perfect. We had a couple of friends over for supper a few times, and there was space for everyone. The driveway even has more than one spot - it's about three cars wide if you park carefully. The neighbourhood is very quiet, and all the neighbours are really pleasant folks. We did have a tiny problem with a light fixture in the hall upstairs, which seemed like it could be a safety issue, so I got in touch with Victor and Tina, and they called their property manager right away to come over to fix it. He came within the hour and had it all fixed and functional again in about 20 minutes. And he left us his card in case we had any other issues. I cannot recommend this house highly enough! Come see Pictou County and stay here!!

Summary: Lovely old house, very clean. It was close to all we needed. Good restaurants close by. I would definitely stay here again when in town. Owners were awesome to deal with.

Summary: Victor and Tina were so kind. They were easy to speak to. Provided all the info we needed in a timely manner. The house is warm and cozy. A perfect getaway from the city life. You won’t be disappointed. We look forward to coming back next year. Thank you again for everything!
