Charming lake cottage perched atop hill overlooking beautiful Wind Lake.
5 steps take you to the front door into well appointed kitchen with walk in pantry and coffee bar. From there, pass through to formal dining room. Dining room leads into oversized living room with plenty of seating for the whole family. Off the living room you will find cozy master bedroom with lake views. Also from the living room take the stairway to the second level where you will find 3 more bedrooms. 1 Queen, 1 full and 2 twin beds.
Basement rec room with bar.
Bathroom 1 located off living room (shower over tub) and second full bath located in basement rec room (walk in Shower)
Home is set for 8 people. Can accommodate up to 10 with extra fee.

Large deck over looks expansive back yard and beautiful Wind Lake. 35 stairs down to lake level. Large fire pit with firewood included. Hard bottom swimmable frontage at the end of the dock. Space for your boat at our private dock.

Wind Lake:
There are several local establishments with great food for both eat in and take out. There is even a tavern a few steps away! Boat launch is just down the road also.
If you do bring a boat, check out one of our other local lakes! Waubeesee Lake, Lake Denoon, Long Lake and Tichigan lake are all within a 10 mile radius.
We do offer a pontoon boat for rent - restrictions apply - please inquire

- NEW* Spring stays - We are now offering early season stays for April and May at a reduced rate. This is typically our yard prep and clean up time so you may see us at work depending on weather.
- Home is located in a residential area. Please be respectful of neighbors. No parties, events or excessively loud music.
- DOGS WILL BE CONSIDERED on a case by case basis. We are dog friendly but must be agreed upon PRIOR TO BOOKING. Please inquire BEFORE booking request. We will consider up to 2 SMALL TO MEDIUM, ADULT, WELL SOCIALIZED, LOW SHEDDING dogs. Dogs must be fully housed trained, are not allowed on furniture or in beds, and must be kenneled while you are away. There is a nonrefundable $25 per day for each dog. If you do travel with your dog please keep on leash at all times. If your pup likes to swim, please do not let wet or muddy dogs inside the house. Make sure they are clean and dry. Do not leave dogs in the house unattended. If you do have to leave your fur baby behind for any reason please bring a crate for him or her. Please clean up after your pup.
- There is another small cottage on the property near the road. This home is a private residence. Occupants will have access to their boat but will not use lakefront during your stay.
-FYI.. - The home does not have a dishwasher
- Fireplaces in the home are non-operational
For security purposes only there are 3 security cameras outside the home. 2 on garage and 1 on house facing the lake. Cameras will be disabled during your stay.

Summary: The house is large, accommodating 9 family members (we paid extra for the additional person). The "s'mores box" was a nice touch and we did enjoy roasting marshmallows around the fire pit right near the water. The pontoon boat was a great way to explore the small lake and just anchor so some of us could swim off the boat.

Summary: A group of us came to Wisconsin for an Alpine Valley show, a tradition some of the group has been doing for 20+ years. This house was the perfect home base for the trip and slept 8 comfortably. The owners clearly put a lot of love into the home and take care of it well. The grounds are beautiful and the dock/lake access makes for great fun and serene moments. We’ve already got family members wanting the info and so they can book it for themselves. Would highly recommend!

Summary: The lake house was spotless and the most well equipped cottage I've ever had the pleasure to rent and is even better in real life than the pictures. There was tons of space for lots of kids to play, a great fire pit, and good indoor living space. The A/C was so nice with the extreme heat when we were there. The water was low, so the lake was a bit silty, but the kids still had a wonderful time splashing about. Great space for a multi family vacation!

Summary: The home is spaciousness and felt like a true home away from home. We used the grill and had burgers and dogs for days. The lake was a comfortable temp, perfect for cooling off but not too cold. There were plenty of chairs around the fire pit and even a couple little kid chairs. We brought a lot of disposable items but we really appreciated all the available serving dishes and tuppawear, fully stocked kitchen, all the amenities you could ask for. The empty walkin pantry was amazing for storing all of the food and snacks we brought. We really enjoyed all the available indoor games and outdoor yard games! Also, the liquor store that has pop and ice is just a 3 min drive down the street. We had such a blast and would love to come again. 💕
