Summary: We stayed for two nights and communication was excellent before and during our stay. Really enjoyed the updated kitchen for cooking meals and the easy access to the road for walking around the area.

Summary: We celebrated fall break with a short trip to the lake! The property suited us just fine. Since it was a little cool, we did not spend time in or on the water. But this would be an excellent place for a summer adventure of that sort. Instead, we enjoyed family fun farm and hiking activities on this trip. Highly recommend for a family getaway!

Summary: We came up here for a fishing weekend. The house was great, access to the lake and boat were easy and communication was outstanding! Everything was very clean and well equipped. Also, the surrounding area is great as well. The restaurant we went to was friendly and inviting. I would highly recommend staying here and would do so again myself.

Summary: Property managers excellent. Basement in need of much cleaning. Not on lake as property on VRBO shows. Very peaceful and provided what we needed to watch our grandchildren participate at their functions.

Summary: We had a great overall stay! Inside remodel was done nicely and it had perfect access to the lake and dock right across the street! Water was warm, knee deep, and although it was weedy in spots (which has to be expected in a lake), we thoroughly enjoyed it… including our toddler and dog! We were able to access the water pretty easily from the dock, especially using the ladder. We also enjoyed renting their pontoon boat for the day. Owner communicated great and promptly responded to any questions/ needs we had. Definitely enjoyed our stay - Thank you!

Summary: My family and I stayed in this cute home for an extended weekend get-away. It was a very relaxing weekend. The owners did a wonderful job updating the home. It was very nicely decorated with upgraded fixtures and very comfortable beds. Enjoyed my coffee every morning with a view. But I didn’t realize there would be no yard. The pictures show the little table, fire pit and grill but don’t show you just how close it all is to a fairly busy road. And the backyard was completely overgrown and unusable. I understand after inquiring that it is swampy and cannot be mowed until it’s been dry for several days and we unfortunately went over a wet weekend. The pier was nicely done. New and clean, but high and hard to get onto from the water. The entrance to the lake was very mucky which was frustrating because both neighbors had nice clean water right up to their little beaches. No sand or anywhere for my toddler to play by the water. We had to just drop him in off the end of the pier. The owners did have floats and the water was shallow for a ways past the end of the pier, so we did enjoy the water quite a bit despite the muck. We had been really looking forward to renting the owners boat but by no fault of theirs, it ended up needing repairs and wasn’t available. The owners did go out of their way to get us two more kayaks which my family really enjoyed and really appreciated. All in all it was a nice stay. The owners were very nice and attentive. The house was great, but not the outside. Maybe something can be done in the future to make the yard and lake access just as welcoming as the house. Oh— And the dang Brewers beat my Cubs both nights we attended games. But I won’t hold that against the hosts. ;)
