This charming, completely remodeled beach house in Pierpont, Ventura is an awesome, relaxing location for your beach getaway! The downstairs unit of a classic beach duplex, this beautifully decorated, 1-bedroom home has a fantastic private outdoor living area. Inside, this home has a cozy, intimate but spacious feel and is ideally suited for a couple, small family or a small group of friends.
This home offers complete indoor-outdoor living! Step out of the French doors directly onto your private patio equipped with comfy couch and chairs and a fire pit (no bbq). Just steps away are the outdoor dining table and chairs on your private, shaded deck. All of this is surrounded by a beautiful garden of succulent plants and bright colored bougainvillea, as well as your own hot-and-cold shower.
Inside, the great room with vaulted ceilings provides comfortable living with an open, spacious feel. The new kitchen with designer backsplash tile has new cabinets, countertops, stainless steel appliances, garbage disposal, coffeemaker, blender, small appliances and filtered drinking water (sorry, no dishwasher). The single-story open floor plan of kitchen/dining/living space creates an intimate, peaceful atmosphere with plenty of seating and a flat screen TV serviced by cable. The bedroom has a queen bed, new HD Smart TV, and an attached bathroom with walk-in shower. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa with a Tempur-Pedic mattress. Linens, towels and all basic supplies are provided. High speed WiFi is available throughout, and play your favorite playlists with our Bose Bluetooth speaker.
The 1-car garage is accessed through the bedroom, providing easy access to the private washer and dryer, additional storage, and the beach equipment provided for your use (bikes, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and beach toys). The garage has ample space to store your personal belongings and beach toys. Dedicated parking for one normal-sized car is available in the driveway (sorry, the garage is not available for parking and we ask that you do not open and close the garage door between the hours of 11 PM and 8 AM due to the noise for the upstairs tenants). Additional parking is available a few houses down on the Main Street of Pierpont Boulevard.
The property is on the beach block of the beautiful Ventura seagrass beaches, and is also only 5 minute walk from the quaint Pierpont shopping area offering dining, drinks, yogurt, and coffee shops. Also a few blocks away is a Vons supermarket, Donut shop, Starbucks, bike shop, running shop. Towards the other end of Pierpont Boulevard is Marina Park where people walk dogs, play with their kids, do yoga and watch the surfers. An absolute must do is the bike ride (or walk) along the bike lane that is over the beach to the Ventura Pier where you can have tacos on the pier or go for a nice ocean view dinner at the Beach House Restaurant and get beers at the local MadeWest Brewery above. Make sure not to miss the amazing sunsets in front of the house and the gorgeous views of the islands as well!
This location is also very close to San Buenaventura State Beach, Ventura Harbor and Old Town in Downtown Ventura.
We ask all visitors to be mindful that a portion on this home is located below the home upstairs. Great effort has been taken to minimize sound from passing to the downstairs unit. However, as is typical with any 2-story home, the occasional footstep or muffled voice may be heard.

Summary: My family of 4 stayed in this one bedroom condo & really enjoyed its location! There are decent restaurants within walking distance for eat in or better yet - take out and dine at the beach which is onlly 1/2 a block from the unit! A sunset dinner on the beach is unforgetable! If you want to cook - the Kitchen and living room feels roomy and the stove and oven both work great with ample pots/pans, etc. Note there is no dishwasher (so bring a teenager!) An alternative to dining at the beach, takeout dining on the Patio is a decent option as it is private as it could be surrounded by two-story homes - a unique feature that we found very welcome. Again, my family really enjoyed staying here. Maxcy was great! She brought us a few more beach towels & helped troubleshoot the locked door.. Vons (the grocery store) closes early (7pm) but if you're willing to drive about 8 mins, I'd recommend the WinCo for more selection and better pricing. Everything was clean and the pictures well represented the condo!

Summary: I stayed 7 nights in this one bedroom condo with lots of natural light and fresh air. Kitchen and living room share an open-air design so it feels roomy. Was able to stream football fairly well on the Smart TV. No CD/DVD/Blu-ray/4K player. Under microwave light bulb was out which I usually use as a night light. Oven light worked and they provided another night light. Patio was as private as it could be surrounded by two-story homes - a unique feature that I found very welcome. I really enjoyed staying here. I’m used to a stainless steel coffee carafes and broke their glass one. Maxcy was great! She worked fast to order a new carafe and lent me a coffee press in the interim. Two things I didn’t like: 1-The pathway along the garage to access the condo involved dodging vines, some with thorns, growing out from the fence on the left. Then the gas meter at the end forces you left into an outgrowth. 2-The toilet is the small round-bowl type but the seat further reduced the opening to only 9-3/4” - almost unusable for my 6’3” frame. The beach is a short half-block down the alley with long walks in either direction. This and my thermos made everything perfect!

Summary: Thanks to this property, we had a wonderful time staying in Ventura, CA. The property was close to the grocery store, Starbucks, and interstate. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. Also, there were two bikes and surfboards, which was awesome. My family enjoyed the stay and was very grateful.

Summary: This place was so great. The location is excellent. The place itself is super cute and stocked with almost everything we needed. It felt bigger than it was due to the usable outside space with the firepit and dining table. Absolotely loved it and the family had an amazing time. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. 5 stars.

Summary: Great place! Both the indoor and outdoor areas are nice. The French doors and screen are particularly nice when the weather is good. Loved being so close to the beach as well as downtown Ventura. For the size of the place it was very well supplied and we appreciated the beach supplies offered.
