Summary: The house has a lot of unique character and is located in a very convenient spot in town. However, there were multiple issues with the door locks, which was very frustrating. Also, there was animal fur everywhere. The pantry items that were in the house were expired. Also, the ice maker does not work and there were no ice cube trays. Overall, it was better than staying in a hotel for our trip. It just had its flaws.

Summary: This property fit our groups needs quite well. It was minutes away from downtown by rideshare services. City transit was close by and there were plenty of restaurants small stores, and other shops for the essentials nearby. The home itself was very nice. An older home that was very comfortable to stay in and enjoy. We made use of the kitchen and the rooms accommodated our group very well. The owner was responsive to questions and the check in and check out process was very straight forward and simple.

Summary: When we arrived we immediately had difficulty with the knob on the keypad (6 attempts). Same issue each time and last night made 18 attempts before the knob worked. We no phone number available if we had problems. While bathrooms, kitchen and fridge were clean, furniture is obviously dirty and stained. Lighting in the common spaces could use improvement, feels dim and dark. The craftsman style has beautiful woodwork, however, the lack of effort to make this a really welcoming space is obvious. There were no instructions offered for the television, and it was very difficult to get anything on the screen, even with tech savvy individuals attempting. Mattresses are in desperate need of replacement and foundational support. Of the three couples, two of us felt like we were sleeping in a stand up taco, always sliding towards the center and having difficulty getting out of it. Information provided on parking was very limited. While it was specified that parking was in the back, it was not stated how to get there or that the street is extremely steep. Property management requested towels and bath mats be washed and left in dryer - dryer took several cycles to dry - needs maintenance? Exterior entrance needs some TLC. To say it is underwhelming is putting. Water spots are noted on the kitchen ceiling and concern is that the tub and/or toilet upstairs is leaking.

Summary: It was a wonderful stay. We've been visiting family for nearly 40 years and this is the first time we've been in downtown Pittsburgh so frequently. We usually just hung out in the south hill area. Thanks for the comfort. The beds were awesome.
