Positive: Our hosts were absolutely fabulous! Above and beyond! Rick & Alexandra were delightful and most accommodating. Sadly, we arrived during a period of a "Miller moth" hatch. (This year during the first weekend in June). They were everywhere. Literally dozens of them swarming around the lovely cabin's interior upon our entry. Freaked my wife out. We couldn't stay! That's the bad news. The good news is that our hosts we're immediately responsive and understanding. They refunded our total rental fee... ON THE SPOT! Unfortunate circumstances that, ultimately, led to a customer service experience that was "World Class"! And, the place is so serene and tasteful, there's just no doubt we'd stay again... just at a different time of year! Thank you, Rick and Alexandra!

Positive: It was possibly the coziest place I've ever stayed. Loved the homey decor. Everything we needed was provided.
Negative: There were quite a few ants near the door, and they bite. However, they didn't cause any problems so long as you didn't leave your shoes there or stand there too long.

Positive: I think the listing name got it right, its very “charming”. The tall ceilings and the design of the interior made the place feel really big and breathable, it was very comfortable for two people. Everything was very neat and tidy, it looked bright and warming like it did in the photos (very home-feeling). I really liked that it had a lot of small things; a thick duvet cover, good soap, good water pressure, lots of nature lighting, thick towels, a TV with all the streaming channels, etc. Just little things that aren’t that big of a deal but collectively make the experience very nice.
Negative: The bathroom door lock was sort of weird (I never figured it out) but the door stays shut either way so it ended up not mattering.
Summary: A nice little get-away that still felt like home.

Positive: This is an adorable cottage that was super clean and perfect for a couple. It was outside of the city, yet close enough that we could get everywhere quickly. Plus we saw deer and rabbits. Everything we needed amenity-wise was provided.
Negative: I understand that houses in the area are on a septic system, but the poor water pressure was a bit of a bummer.
Summary: We would not hesitate to stay in convenient, tidy, cute cabin again.
