Summary: We had a great time staying here. 10 people from 3 different families. Plenty of space in the house. The kids had a great time in the garden and swimming in the pool. Fabienne was a great host and communication was excellent. I would definitely recommend this house.

Summary: The photographs don't do the house justice, there is loads of space, the bedrooms are large and over two wings, which is great if you are two families. The swimming pool, hot tub, ping pong, table football, animal (rabbits, chickens, ducks & tortoises), vegetable patch and gardens games kept everyone busy for our 10 day visit. There is a lot to see in the area, sweetcorn maze, Epernay, Troyes, Reims and Provins were all easy day trips! The property is well equipped with everything you need for cooking and has good indoor and outdoor seating. The host was fantastic with communication. Many thanks for a great stay!!

Summary: As to the property, it's a miraculous piece of art. It had been a totally rundown farm that the host family spent 15 years renovating. The vision and realization of that vision resulted in a property that vastly roomy, wonderfully landscaped, and chock full with amenities no less than built-in swimming pool and outdoor covered jacuzzi. The landscaping and architecture are awe-inspiringly picturesque. The Rousseau/Lefrere family is kind, generous, responsive and a ton of fun! Summary: We stayed as a family of four (two teenagers) and found this a great base for exploring the Region. Spacious and clean property with the addition of own pool. Fabienne was available on hand as required.

Summary: The photographs do not do this property justice. It was much bigger than we expected and absolutely beautiful. Fabienne is really friendly and everything from the booking right through to the handover of keys on the day of departure, was straightforward and simple. The pool is fabulous and we used it almost everyday. There's plenty of room in the courtyard and the garden to relax in and for children to play. Our kids loved the animals - rabbits, chickens and tortoises - and enjoyed feeding them and seeing if the chickens had laid any eggs for them. The trampoline and basketball were well used. There were so many things to keep everyone happy that we hadn't expected (table tennis, swingball, sandbox, swings etc) . The village is lovely and we visited the baker most days for fresh bread and patisserie. Disney is an hour away and we spent three days there, but this was our only trip out because the house was so fun and relaxing that we didn't want to leave. Lots of amazing views of the stars at night since you're right out in the countryside and not hindered by too much light pollution. Hoping to go back sometime soon.

Summary: We had the most magnificent family holiday at this amazing property! Once you closed the gates it was like being in a little compound all of your own! We were 6 altogether (4 adults and 2 children) and there was plenty of room to be together and to get some space too... The amazing pool area and outside space make this property something very special. Travelling with our 9 and 11 year olds, it can be hard to keep them entertained - but this house had everything and it was the favourite part of their 12 week holiday! There was a big trampoline, soccer goal and balls, basketball ring, ping pong, the coolest old table soccer game I've ever seen, bikes, tortoises, chooks (and your kids can collect the eggs), a HUGE smart TV with netflix and I can hardly forget the wonderful pool. The beauty is in the property itself and we found it hard to drag ourselves away! Very relaxing. Fabienne was lovely to communicate with and was very patient with our lack of French! Thank you Fabienne for sharing your beautiful home :)

Summary: Fabienne is a lovely host and couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect; she even printed our tickets for Disneyland. The place is a beautiful farmhouse and out buildings which took over ten years to restore and the pictures do not do it justice; it's amazing. Located only 40 mins from both Epernay and Disneyland Paris it is perfect for a young family to enjoy the house and explore the region. Lovely fire pit to enjoy sitting around with a glass of wine in the evening. The place is very big; there are three bedrooms although one room you have to walk through the main bedroom to reach. If you have little kids, make sure you take pool shoes as the tiles around the pool can be slippy when wet. The eaves and door heights on the first floor caught us all out regularly so lots of bumps, but goes with the territory. We took our own Nespresso machine but there was one already there so don't forget your pods. Likes: private gated courtyard, lots for kids to do without leaving the property; rabbits ducks and chickens, BBQ facilities, private pool is fantastic. Large open garage to park at least three cars. Enclosed by buildings and large walls on all sides so kids are safe to play and can't get out.

Summary: Very secure property with electric solid gates and high stone walls not overlooked. Large parking area, grass for play and relaxation with trampolene, outdoor games, bikes, table tennis, table football,etc. Wood/charcoal and gas barbecues easy to use either outside or in one of the huge barns. Egg laying hens and several rabbits for young children to feed and hold. Large indoor heated swimming pool with changing room and shower adjoining lounge area with TV. However, the room was fairly stuffy due to the heat from the pool though several patio type doors could be opened. The main lounge was small and dark and adjoined the dining room. The well-fitted kitchen had a central high table with stools as an alternative dining area. The large exterior lacked comfortable furniture with only 2 low loungers and 2 chairs and small table. A pity as this addition would have made it exceptional. Only a communal bathroom/shower upstairs with 3 double-sized bedrooms. Separate toilet upstairs and down. The village had a good supermarket, excellent butcher and patisserie (even open on Sundays). Good local walking/biking and close to attractive town of Sezanne though more than an hour's drive from other areas/towns of interest e.g. Chalons, Rheims.

Summary: We stayed here for 9nights in Sep 2016 and we had an incredible holiday. The pictures on the website really do not do the place justice. It has been beautifully and carefully restored with all its character in tact but with a modern specification. Electrical wooden gates with a remote control and a motorised pool cover for example. It's brilliant for families as the pool is excellent and the garden is big. The owners provide a massive trampoline, swings, sandpit, scooters, toys, etc. The property is completely enclosed so very safe and private. Feeding the chickens, ducks and rabbits was also great fun and we received a few free range eggs for our efforts! There is also an excellent fruit & veg patch which produced strawberries, tomatoes and all sorts! The farmhouse is very well appointed, very clean and has a very high class finish. Brits may want to bring a kettle as it was the only item not provided. Although the kitchen did have a tea perculator which we used instead with fresh tea leaves. If you like coffee bring some nespresso capsules as there is a machine in the kitchen. The kitchen itself has everything you could possibly need. The main bedroom is stunning. The pool/lounge room with the two sofas is a great place to chill out. Location wise it's only about an hour from EuroDisney & Reims. Epernay was about 40mins. Provins is definitely worth a day visit. The village shops are only a 5min walk away and it has a supermarket, bakery, cash machine/bank, etc so basic provisions are easy. There is also a large supermarket and petrol station a 5min drive away. A quick note about the landlord Fabienne. She is a very friendly and polite and made us feel very welcome! Highly recommended.
