Summary: This was our third summer in a row staying at this property so it’s tradition at this point! We absolutely love it. The house is charming as ever and always clean and in good shape when we arrive. Easy access to kayak and paddle board is one of the best features. The sun porch is beautiful, we begin and end every day there. We are already looking forward to our stay next summer!

Summary: A group of friends for 58 years gathered at Bewdley for a reunion. The setting was perfect as a background for all the reminiscing; the large well cared for grounds overlooking the Rappahannock River, the beautiful weather we experienced, the spacious bedrooms. We loved the size of the porch and the dining room where we had plenty of room to gather and talk. The kitchen was well stocked. A bonus was having Nelson, who was ever ready to answer questions and provide direction and information. The opportunity of having time with friends was greatly enhanced by being at Bewdley.

Summary: The location and quietness of this property are amazing. Sunsets are stunning along with the Osprey nest. Our stay was early April, a little too cold to enjoy all the water amenities. Guess we'll have to go back.

Summary: Our stay was wonderful. We woke to doves singing to us and slept well after a day of kayaking or hiking. We even had some porpoise swim along side our kayaks. That was incredible. And the sunsets! Wow. The sunsets were magical. The property is so beautiful and peaceful with fabulous views of the river. Of course we spent all our time on the screened porch which had a nice big table and comfy furniture. We were not able to connect to the Wi-Fi and we never turned on the tv but that was kinda a good thing to really unplug. We plan to go back as soon as we can. Thank you for sharing this very special home.

Summary: This was our second summer spending a week at this property and it was just as lovely! We had the best time enjoying the river as a family. Lots of kayaking and paddle boarding! We even got some fishing in this time. Relaxing in the sun porch at the end of each day, watching the water was once again a major highlight. A couple days were spent eating some delicious meals and shopping in Irvington and Kilmarnock. We’re already looking at our calendars for next summer to come back!

Summary: This home offered exactly what we wanted. We were able to unwind and relax!! Between the daily fishing, kayaking, and sitting by the Rappahonick River to watch the sunset, we truly enjoyed our stay. The property manager, Nelson, is a gem. He was always there when we needed something!! We look forward to visiting again in the coming years.
