The Country Haven Lodge is a great choice for those looking for a quiet more private place to vacation. If your get-a-way means getting away from the crowds and getting back to nature and yourself, come stay and enjoy the comfortable, quiet surroundings! The lodge is next door to our home but still quiet as we don't bother you. We are only about 30 minutes from the lake and all of it's offerings. Ha Ha Tonka State Park is about 15 minutes away as well as many other attractions. Enjoy the busy things in the area then come back to the quite to grill your supper or just sit and look out at the Ozark hills and relax.
We have a 15X30 above ground pool, open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, for our guests enjoyment! (Approx. 4' deep throughout.) It's 12X20 deck is connected to the back porch for privacy and convenience. So, swim or sunbathe and enjoy the beautiful view while relaxing with loved ones!
The lodge is set on our working farm that has cattle and chickens. You might get to see some cows and baby calves and hear a rooster crow!
1200 Square feet on two floors.
Two bedrooms upstairs with king beds.
The lodge kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes and silverware. The frig has an ice maker and there is a dishwasher, stove, oven and microwave, toaster and coffee maker. All you will need to bring is the food! There is also a gas BQ grill if you would like to use that.
42' TV with Roku and a DVD player.
Great cell phone reception.
Sorry no pets allowed and no smoking in the lodge. There will be lawn mowing part of the time as the property does have to be maintained for your comfort and enjoyment!
We limit our guests, including anyone you might invite for an evening, to 6 guests including children and babies. No extra invited guests without prior consent of the property owners.

Summary: When we first arrived we were greeted by Pepper, their Australian Shepherd. When we walked in the home was very clean and we were treated with a homemade loaf of bread and some farm fresh eggs for our stay. If you are looking for a nice secluded stay with a pool, look no further.

Summary: Our stay here was amazing. The cottage was perfect right down to the homemade bread and fresh farm eggs. Shelia is absolutely the best host ever, she was readily available anytime we needed her which was never because she had thought of everything to make our stay perfect. But Pepper and Snooks were the highlight of our trip. We will absolutely be back.

Summary: This place was awesome! Very quiet and peaceful, Great location! Loved the animals and the pool! The cottage was a great size! I would definitely stay again! Owners were very friendly but kept to themselves. Pepper their puppy was out little pal, which was fine!

Summary: Our stay in Mack’s Creek was so charming and peaceful. The lodge is so clean my toddler couldn’t find any crumbs. The pool was perfect. The view is amazing. The fresh bread and eggs were amazing and such a sweet thoughtful touch. We really enjoyed the lodge having lazy days swimming and resting. We were even able to get two naps one day. Our son loved singing Old Macdonald to the cows. The property is just gorgeous. Shelia was so friendly and definitely the best host we have had. Nothing but positive things to say about this place. Our family usually goes non stop on vacation. This was a wonderful rest. We hope to be back one day. Thanks again for such an amazing time !

Summary: We had a wonderful time. Very secluded which made it very restful and peaceful. We enjoyed having Pepper the dog and Snooks the cat visit us regularly throughout the days. The place was spotless, and Sheila's fresh eggs and homemade bread made it even more enjoyable. The private pool was wonderful, and the view was to die for. We will be going back.

Summary: This place couldn’t have been more perfect for what we were looking for. We were at a baseball tournament just up the road, my 11yr old son, and myself. Greeted when we arrived by the happy boy Pepper, and owner Shiela. Sheila could not have been more pleasant. And to have fresh bread and farm eggs… that’s not something you get from a city rental. It was quiet, the pool was clean and wonderful with how hot it was, and the house was clean and cozy. Couldn’t have been happier! If we are ever that way again, I will absolutely book this place again!

Summary: We had a great time relaxing on our weekend away. We were welcomed with homemade bread and farm fresh eggs for our stay. The pool was very nice to cool off in. Everything was kept very nice and it was a beautiful property. The owners were very friendly and available if needed. Communication was great. If you're looking for a quiet place to unwind, this is it!

Summary: Peaceful and beautiful property. Hosts were very welcoming and literally not even a speck of dust in the whole cabin! Immaculately taken care of. Fresh farm eggs and freshly baked bread waiting for us in the kitchen. Fluffy towels, fresh clean bedding and all the conveniences of home. I will definitely be booking this one again in the future!
