Positive: The property was very pretty. When I booked my room, I didn’t realize that our bathroom was down the hall. I did ask if we could upgrade if there was availability and we were the only people there until our last two days. They didn’t respond or did not accommodate, which I thought was strange.
Negative: Carlos was amazing! He prepared us wonderful food and he really made the trip!

Negative: The room with a separate bathroom down the hall (which we expected before arrival, that aspect was fine), the bathroom just felt a little run down

Positive: The setting was beautiful and the staff terrific. Carlos’ breakfasts were super delicious.
Negative: The room was pretty bad. You have to be inside the shower to turn on the shower or else the water shoots out all over the floor. Did t like having g the closet in the bathroom. There were lots of mice in the walls. No chair at the desk in our room. No mirror in the bathroom and all the furnishings quite worn.
Summary: Carlos was the bright spot. I wouldn’t return.

Positive: Location, adjacent to the vineyards was like being in France but without the airfare! Did not know what to expect for breakfast menu/service but our chef out did himself, especially with the huevos rancheros. Staff made us feel so welcome and showed us the fridge stocked with cold beverages by the pool, the coffeemaker in the kitchen which we were welcome to.
Summary: A wonderful stay and we plan to go back. Wonder how we missed this place before now.
