Summary: This little house was perfect for our stay. Our son got married at the Common House, which is a private club only 2 blocks away from our rental. It was very convient, and the parking helped a LOT, since there was no parking at the venue. Great area in Richmond, full of shops and cafes. We only wish we could have stayed longer, but life happens. Everything we needed for our stay.

Summary: I was in town for the Marathon, and I'm very happy we came across this listing. Good location (off the main street, so it was quiet) for getting around the city, with a ton of restaurants and such on Broad and by VCU. The host was very gracious to allow a last minute late-checkout and I'm very grateful. Thank you!!

Summary: The only entrance is through the alley entrance which is fine if you know ahead of time and don’t arrive at night. Local contact responded quickly to all my questions and was helpful.

Summary: This was a clean and comfortable place to stay. We were even surprised with how quiet it was, given its location in the city. It was a great spot for us to visit our VCU student, whose dorm was just a few blocks away. We especially appreciated the many details that were thought of and taken care of: sample toiletries, paper products (like toilet paper and tissues), and even things like coffee and an assortment of tea bags all available for guests. It was more like staying at a friend's house than a rental! We loved having linens and towels included and a parking space for us to use as part of the rental. Not needing to worry about these details made our stay much smoother. We appreciated being given a direct contact person for our stay. Both before our stay and during, our contact (Hanna) was responsive, friendly, and helpful. The only complaint I have is the mattress in the bedroom with the en suite bathroom. We found it quite uncomfortable and in need of replacement. If that were remedied, this place would be just right! Not sure about the mattress in the other bedroom--our teenage son slept on it and he can sleep just about anywhere. :)
