Positive: The friendly staff members and good food.
Negative: The pictures of the property advertised on the platform “specifically the beach area” are not what is presented. There are boats and community living by the beach which makes it not accessible. Please can they update their pictures so people that book know what to expect and get value for money.

Positive: My husband and I stayed at Chuini to celebrate our honeymoon, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. When we arrived, the experience was nothing short of magical. The staff surprised us by upgrading our room to a beachfront bungalow a thoughtful gesture that made our stay feel extra special from the start. Pros: 1. Stunning Location & Facilities The hotel is nestled right on the beach, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. The restaurant area is beautifully designed, and the property features historic architecture, two large pools, one with a charming cascade, a spa, a small private beach, and lush, meticulously maintained gardens. The talented gardening team clearly puts immense care into keeping the grounds pristine and inviting. Our bungalow was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a large living room, a cozy balcony, and a well designed bedroom. It felt like our own little slice of paradise. 2. Delicious Food Every meal we had was prepared fresh and full of flavor. The chef is truly talented, and every dish was a delight. Dining here was a highlight of our stay. 3. Exceptional Staff The staff were absolutely incredible well trained, friendly, and polite. They went far beyond what we expected to make our honeymoon feel special. They surprised us with two romantic dinners, complete with flower decorations and candles, and even prepared a beautiful floral arrangement in our room for our anniversary. Their genuine care and attention to detail made us feel so blessed and appreciated. 4. Magical Atmosphere The view from the dining area is breathtaking. Having breakfast while overlooking the ocean during high tide was marvelous, and dinner during sunset felt like something out of a dream. 5. Peace and Serenity Visiting during the low season meant we sometimes had the entire hotel to ourselves, which added to the tranquil and exclusive vibe. The quiet, calm atmosphere left us feeling completely relaxed and refreshed.
Negative: As much as we fell in love with this place, we believe it’s only fair to share these points so the hotel can take note and make the appropriate improvements, These issues stem from the management and ownership, not the staff. Cons: 1. Internet Connectivity The internet was a significant issue during our stay. It didn’t work at all in our bungalow and was only sporadically functional in the communal areas, but even there, the connection was very poor. This is something the hotel should prioritize improving, as reliable internet is essential for most travelers. 2. Power Outages We experienced a few electrical power cuts during our stay, and we were surprised to find that the hotel didn’t have a backup generator. While we understand this might not be entirely the hotel’s fault, investing in a reliable generator would make a big difference and enhance guests’ comfort during such instances. 3. Strong Smell of Mold Our bungalow had an overwhelming smell of mold, particularly in the living room, which was very unpleasant. We had to keep the windows open throughout our stay and even at night to ventilate the space, even though this increased our risk of insect bites. The bedroom smell improved slightly with ventilation, but the living room’s odor persisted. We believe this is likely due to the straw roof, which seems overdue for replacement. Interestingly, the bathroom, which did not have a straw roof, did not have this issue. 4. Maintenance and Upkeep While the hotel is undeniably beautiful, it is overdue for some upgrades. We noticed chipping paint in the pools, paint drips on furniture, and minor damages to some furnishings. Additionally, the pool towels were stained or worn out, which detracted from the overall luxury experience. These might seem like small details, but for a 5-star hotel with premium pricing, they are noticeable and do affect the guest experience. Perhaps ditching all the towels and buying new white ones will resolve this issue. 5.
Summary: ✨Honeymoon magical stay ✨

Positive: Staff is very friendly and helpful. Lodge has a nice rustic look and feel to it including the well-manicured gardens which are beautifully. Food is very good, and that area is very scenic. Staff had access to other facilities which were not on their premises, they simply phone ahead and made arrangements i.e. gym, horse riding, deep-sea trip, trips to the islands, etc.
Negative: No hot water in my room for 2 days. Beaches in that area were not so great for swimming.
Summary: Great stay, country is very poor and found the cost of food/beverages & transport pretty expensive

Positive: Gorgeous location, view and atmosphere. The perfect place to relax, with lovely welcoming and attentive staff
Negative: The hotel is secluded (which is great) but no other places to eat/ get snacks unless you’re going out on day trips - Not a problem for us as we are staying at other locations on the island and this was our relax and do nothing stop, but if you stayed here for 7days+ something to bare in mind

Positive: Facilities are beautiful!
Negative: Rooms are dull, humid and probably have moist. When we first arrived we were escorted to our room the humidity/moist air was too much to bare I was barely able to breathe. After explaining in vain for hours to staff members that I can not sleep in a room where I can not breathe, they finally got us another room that had less humidity/moist smell (more bearable). Since we had a very late check in due to the encountered situation we asked for a late check out as also our flight was late, we were not assisted with the request. We were a little bit disappointed but we enjoyed the facilities until it was time for us to go to the airport.
Summary: Beautiful facilities but need to be ok with humidity/moist smell
