Summary: We were looking for something that was close to the airport for our family since we would be getting in very late, and it was very close! Great price and sufficient for a one night stay. Little bit hard to find.

Summary: Worked for an overnight stay before a flight but would not have stayed a second night. Shower was on demand hot water that was either cold or scolding hot even after adjusting. Some lights flickered and the parking was tight for a rav 4

Summary: Very hard time finding the location. No soap to even wash hands. Cigarette burn holes and hair in the bed we slept in. Host communicated in English until we tried to communicate we were cancelling our second reservation at the end of our trip and then spoke in Spanish when we tried to cancel claiming she didn’t know what to do. VRBO was no help resolving this so I ended up losing my 50% money back after cancelling due to the delay.

Summary: Very clean, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood and very close to the airport. The property was a little difficult for our driver to find. Communication with the host was excellent.

Summary: Great location if you have an early flight to your destination. 3 bedroom and 2 bathrooms, although we only needed one. Neighborhood is kind of dark to walk and is far away from restaurants. For us it was perfect for a one night stay. Will stay again there if we have an early flight.

Summary: This was a great stop over as we were preparing to leave San Jose. It is very close to the airport and within walking distance to a market. The property manager was great to help us out and very quick to respond. There must be more than one Cielo apt. because the pictures shown were not the apt. we stayed in.

Summary: We stayed at this apartment when we arrived in San Jose and also the night before our flight. It was a great price for a family of seven people and minutes from the airport! The host gave us the contact of a driver who shuttled us (at a cost) to and from the airport. He was on time - even at 2am! - and very professional and kind. The apartment was clean and had what we needed for two short stays. There are not a ton of choices for restaurant and stores in the area, but we were able to walk to a small supermarket as well as a restaurant. It is right beside the train track, but the trains were not very noisy. Of course, we could loudly hear planes taking off, but they were not too frequent, and it was to be expected as it is incredibly close to the airport. The only negative was that we booked the apartment that sleeps 7 with a futon in the living room, but both nights we were given a different apartment with chairs instead of a futon. We did not have a bed for one of us. The host offered to switch apartments the first night but it was after midnight and we were too tired so made do. When we returned we were yet again given the same apartment without the futon as in the listing. The host seems to have made a booking mistake and offered to bring us a mattress. We made do. Overall a good, decent, inexpensive place to stay for one night, but be sure to clarify with the host that you will get the apartment with the futon if you’re a group over 6 people like us.
