Summary: Our incoming flight from Dallas was canceled and we ended up in Guatemala City. We arrived at the San Jose Hampton just as breakfast was ending. They let us eat and gave us toothbrushes, as our luggage had not made it there, which was very much appreciated. Nice people.

Summary: Easy check-in with friendly staff who were bilingual. They let us choose which floor we wanted to stay. Breakfast was excellent with great local fruits and dishes.

Summary: The in-site restaurant opened at 6pm. We needed an early dinner so had to walk about 75 yards to the Denny’s up the road. Our flight was at 0530 so no breakfast for us. There should be a small rebate for those of us with early flights who miss buffet breakfast.

Summary: We stayed at this property twice on our trip. First time was when we arrived into Costa Rica and the second time was the day before we flew out. Both times were very nice. The rooms had enough space for pot family of 4. Beds were comfortable. The free breakfast had a good variety. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this property.

Summary: We only stayed one night. The service at the front desk was ok - they seemed bothered to check us in. There is no sound proofing and talking, slammed doors all throughout the night, flushing of toilets can be heard. The room was clean.

Summary: This hotel was very close to the airport. It was very easy to jump on the shuttle and we were at the hotel in minutes. After a long travel day it was perfect! Breakfast was good, had a nice variety or choices and staff was super friendly

Summary: The room, the staff, the property, the location just perfect. Unfortunately the breakfast is terrible. The offer awful pancakes, terrible bread, they call it fresh, but it was fresh weeks ago, really bad cake. What was good, was tortilla filled with meat and second day chicken curry (?), scrambled eggs and sausages were just average. What I don’t understand why they don’t offer fresh juices and bigger variety of the tropical fruits (only pineapple, watermelon and banana). The dining area is quite small for the big hotel.
