Positive: Really great location, very central. Great outdoor space to chill out, great views of the city. Booked 4 beds in a 8 bed mixed dorm but staff said we booked a 4 bed female dorm. Worked out okay as it was only the 4 of us in the room
Negative: Staff came into our room multiple times while we were out, staff took belongings from our room and left a notice about our room being messy. We were shocked that the staff could come into our room freely when it wasn’t shared with other hostel members. Was disappointed with the lack of privacy

Negative: A lot of noise when trying to sleep during the weekend. Some people seemed to live in the dorm so only top bunks seemed to be available.

Positive: The communal area is brilliant, possibly one of the best in a hostel in Brisbane, and the staff are so helpful and friendly, I’ve rebooked shortly after trying a different hostel.
Negative: Simply that the facilities aren’t as nice as they could be. My bunk bed’s ladder was bent and crooked, the showers aren’t brilliant but they get the job done. That’s it for things I didn’t like. Everything else was great, and the hostel staff helped with any other issues I had very promptly.
Summary: Best value for money place to stay in Brisbane, period.

Positive: It’s near a small shopping centre for small amenities , and located in the middle of the City. The site isn’t too far from public transport, so it’s easy enough to get in and out.
Negative: Private rooms didn’t have a private bathroom. Yes it’s stated on their page, but that just makes the privates a more expensive version of a dorm (which may not be suitable for everyone). The walls are razor thin, so you’ll hear every single syllable uttered in the hall ways. Also, having to purchase bottled water? Even less well-off countries I’ve been to, a room would be given a small bottle of water for free and the option to refill for free somewhere. Overall, it’s a bed and a pillow that’s good for one night only, and not much else.
Summary: Fine if you don’t plan to sleep much
