3 Bedroom House in Waitarere Beach

Bring back your memories of childhood in this classic family beach bach, with a retro vibe. Situated right across the road from the beach, you can pop down for a swim or load up our beach cart and settle in for the afternoon.
There are two bedrooms inside. One room with two single beds, and the master bedroom with balcony access and loads of afternoon sun.
There is also a sleep out which has 1 x set of bunks and 1 x single bed.
The bach has an outdoor rain water shower (in addition to the indoor shower) with hot water for rinsing off after the beach.
There is also super fast broadband and infinity hot water.
The back garden is completely enclosed, and we are happy to allow one small dog (please add this in your request).
Relax on the newly built front deck. Play cricket on the front lawn. Enjoy the morning sun in the sunny back porch.
There is a sun room in the front of the house, where you can soak up some sun in the cooler months. It is equipped with a Smart TV. We have toys, books and games to keep the little ones entertained.
The Four Square has a good selection of groceries, beer & wine, and fresh pastries and baked goods.
Things to note:
Linen is not provided. Please bring your own sheets and towels. Tea towels are provided.
We don't charge a cleaning fee. Please leave the bach clean and tidy - wash dishes, clean toilet and sink, restock toilet paper, wipe surfaces, sweep floors.
There is no mains water supply at Waitarere Beach. This bach has bore water, which we do not use for drinking and cooking. The water is quite yellow in appearance. Do not be alarmed! This is because of the iron content which is common in ground water. It is perfectly fine to brush your teeth with. 15L water bottles can be purchased from the dairy for $12.
We have a security camera attached to the front of the house that points to the driveway. It is switched off during guest stays, and is switched on when the bach is vacant, for security purposes.
No parties or gatherings thanks.
No smoking inside or outside.

Summary: Weather great first day wild wet and windy following couple of days. Got in lots of beach walks, great restaurant within ealking distant. Four square does great bread and pastrys.

Summary: Really cool bach! Well equipped and the outdoor shower was a hit even in June! We'll be going back for sure. Great location, walking distance to everything. Was the prefect long weekend getaway and the host was very accommodating. Thanks Claire, recommend you put the rubbish day on the welcome info and we could have put the bin out. 🙈 Sorry about that.

Summary: This property is a classic kiwi bach. Nice and clean. Has everything you need. Was great to be able to stay with my mum and just relax. Sit on the decks in the sun. Go for walks on the beach and there is a four square that had eveythign you could need and a cafe down the road. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your bach. We loved it and hope to come stay again.

Summary: It was a lovely little place but it was very very hot with cooling system. The fan in one of the bedrooms wasnt strong enough. Although we knew about the water situation it was pretty bad however the outdoor shower was awesome. Few little thing we would recommend: Make sure you bring toilet paper as we had to go back into levin as there was none and the four square was closed as we got in at 730pm Some sort of cooling system would be awesome cause the place is a hot box. We ended up staying one night and leaving the next day.
