Summary: The hotel was in a perfect location to explore St. Louis. It was a cool design. The pool and breakfast was great. Parking was free (after a $6 fee) and easy. The elevator was questionable.

Summary: Hotel is under renovation which was not disclosed at all. Only found out after checking in and going to room. The rooms were very poorly clean and some equipment was broken already (pictures were taken). Overall, the hotel was filthy and that led to a very uncomfortable stay. The only reason we decided to stay was because our air conditioning is out at home and it is 90 degrees there.

Summary: The hotel is a beautiful old, unique hotel located in downtown St. Louis. Very close to the arch. However, the parking is difficult because the garage is located in the back, around the corner from the hotel itself. It is included in your room fee, so that’s nice. The rooms are not updated, though they are working on them now, not sure when that will be completed. It is a large hotel, so I’d think it will be a while

Summary: Great stay. Staff was super friendly, very helpful! If I ever end up back in St.Louis, they are my choice of stay.

Summary: Too many ramps/stairs! Breakfast was dine in only...no taking your breakfast back to your room. Did not care for being told where to sit in breakfast area. Parking was confusing at first. Instead of explaining how the parking worked we were made feel like we thought we were too good to park our own car which is not the case at all!!! Hotel could do a better job explaining their parking rules, etc. up front to avoid so much confusion. When trying to unload luggage the front of the hotel is on a steep hill and is dangerous ... possible rollaway cart!!!! And did mention...??? if you want a view, ask to not be assigned Room 202!!! (Wonder if that was our punishment for not understanding parking rules??) The pool needs a lot of work and very few outside lounge chairs. Stayed in St. Louis area many times. Have never stayed here and would not recommend to family and friends.
