Positive: The Cheshire is my go to every time. I considered booking a different hotel for Mothers Day weekend but couldn’t for fear of disappointment. The Cheshire delivers great comfort and service at a reasonable rate. We’ll always be back!

Positive: The property is so nicely curated - from the rooms and lobby to the Starbucks on the far corner of the property. Everything is delightfully Tudor Revival and evokes both the ambiance of a cozy inn or pub while also honoring some of St. Louis' heritage and history. Room was comfortable - love the architecture! The included breakfast was generous as well. Would highly recommend so long as you aren't married to staying closer to Downtown STL.

Negative: My biggest regret was that I didn't have another day in St. Louis to spend here - I arrived late from Chicago while traveling Route 66, and was too tired to visit the pub. Peeking into the pub the next morning, I kicked myself - make sure to stay at least two nights so that you have time to explore the property, enjoy the amenities, and see Forest Park as well.

Positive: It’s a cool concept. The location is great for getting around St.Louis.

Negative: Lack of room amenities (microwave, fridge) the headboard for one of the beds had been damaged prior to our arrival but had not been replaced or replaced. There were only two towels for a double occupancy room. The Basso restaurant was overpriced and food was inedible, wait staff were wonderful though.
