Enjoy wildlife, fishing, farm animals, stargazing, campfires, birds, walking, bike rides, water, and golf cart excursions.
Bring your golf carts, bicycles or running shoes and enjoy beautiful views of pastures, cattle and horses on the miles of paved county roads that meander through our farm and beyond.
Bring your boat or jet ski and launch at the nearby public boat ramp that is less than 1 mile away. Across the street from the Trabin we have a floating pier and 2 docks to tie your boats.
Spend the day on the William Bill Dannelly Reservoir and enjoy the 500 miles of shoreline it has to offer. This popular lake is known for excellent fishing, skiing, boating, hunting, and swimming. There are numerous parks, boat ramps, and recreation areas along with picnic facilities, beaches, and playgrounds.

Summary: We had a great time! Mac & his family were very helpful & accommodating. The house was well stocked with nice pots & pans, lots of games, and plenty of space for our group of 10. The bunk room was a huge hit with the kids. Thanks for having us!

Summary: What a perfect getaway to escape to the country. It was only our family of 3, but could have easily held a much larger family. Spacious, clean, and quiet-it was a great space to relax. The beds were really comfortable, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook dinner for our family, and most importantly--because this is Alabama in the summer--the air conditioner was cold! As a runner, an early morning run down country roads with nothing but sunshine was one of the best runs I've had in a long time--perfect for walks, runs, or just a stroll. There was a boat launch not far away-next time, we'll bring our boat to spend the day on the river. The host and his family were far away the kindest and most accommodating hosts I've ever encountered. Have zero complaints and can't wait to book again for another stay.

Summary: We booked the Trabin to escape Hurricane IDA. We were pleasantly surprised by how large and clean the house was. It fit our large family (6 adults, 3 Kids) very well with room to spare. The kids loved fishing in the river, spotting deer during the day and fireflies at night. The owner Mac and his family went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. If your looking for an escape to the county, look no further than the Trabin. Highly recommended.

Summary: Exceptional place if you truly want to get away from all the crowded destinations. The “Trabin” was absolutely perfect for our family of 6. It is very peaceful, plenty of comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, and well equipped with anything you would need. We created some wonderful family memories riding golfcarts and tubing on the river. We just wish we would have booked longer. We will definitely stay here again! The launch was right down the road from the property as described, it was well kept and very convenient. Can’t wait to stay here again.
