Positive: location. Being adjacent to ocean and the beach was great.
Negative: the room and amenities were minimal. bathroom and shower were kind of old. there were know towel holder by the sink.. the front window couldn't be locked.

Positive: Location is everything - the property is right on the cliff with the waves crashing below. Nothing between you and the ocean. The view is amazing. Restaurant is also very good, and it's very pleasant to sit poolside and look at the view.
Negative: Room was somewhat run down although clean. Linens and overall look could use a face-lift and more air circulation. Room felt musty. Property is very basic - no jaccuzzi or any other facilities. I expected a path directly to the beach but it's actually a 10 min. walk on the bike path along the incredibly noisy and busy highway, which was unpleasant. Also keep in mind nothing is within walking distance aside from the restaurant on site.
Summary: Location is stunning, property leaves much to be desired in terms of luxury.

Positive: The view & breeze from the bedroom window was amazing. The picnic tables on the front lawn are perfectly placed for a VIP feel ocean view They gave us free extra blankets on request for the cool April evening with the window open. Breakfast was varied and I'm sure the restaurant would be delicious (the night time views were gorgeous) but it was closed the night we were there.
Negative: Everything was great.
Summary: Simple, friendly, intimate hotel with unparralelled ocean views. A steal of a gem.

Negative: Noise from the highway. Welcome by the restaurant staff. While waiting for the room we just wanted some coffee. We were not allowed to seat at a table, although 4 tables were free all the time, and our coffee was served in paper cups. Thumbs down.
