Cape Style Home, with air conditioning, that has been freshly painted throughout with brand new kitchen and granite countertops. Two living rooms with a gas fireplace in one of them. Freshly painted deck off the living room with above ground pool. Walk from living room to pool within two steps. There are two bedrooms upstairs (One has queen sized bed and the other has full sized bed) , along with a partially finished basement which has a big bedroom with a queen sized bed and big closet. There are beautiful gardens and a private backyard.

Summary: The house was quiet and roomy. The parking was great and the road wasn't a main road so it was great to have some peace and quiet. The house is also not too far away from restaurants which was great.

Summary: Valerie's house was clean and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Great location for exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia, and close to anything you could need in Ellsworth. The pool was very refreshing after a day of hiking! We would definitely stay again in the future!

Summary: Our grandkids really loved the pool. The house was clean and spacious. It was about 20 miles from Acadia /Bar Harbor.areas. Communication was good with host. We requested extra towels and had them the next morning. SENIORS may not be comfortable in this house because the stairs are narrow, steep and have no hand rails, and there is no bathroom on the floors where the sleeping areas are. Also , if you mind the heat, only the LR and one bedroom are airconditioned. The other upstairs bedroom was too hot to sleep in, even with a fan, while we were there in July.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Valerie’s house. It was very comfortable and a good location in a quiet area. It was just the right distance away from the busy Bar Harbor. It was too chilly to enjoy the above ground pool, but we loved the fire pit! The beds were comfortable and they have plenty of kitchen things for making a few meals at home. Loved the area and exploring Acadia! Would stay again.
