Post & beam cottage with an open floor plan. Rough cut timbers and hardwood floors provide a very cozy cabin feel. Outside the property has a large open deck, covered back porch, fire pit area and a paved driveway with a basketball court. A short walk down a private path to the shore provides water access for kayaking, and exploring Raccon Cove. The property is also centrally located in Lamione and is close to all of its amenities, just 1 1/2 miles from Marboro Beach, 1/2 mile from freshwater swimming at Bloomfield Park on Blunt's Pond, and 3 miles from Lamoine State Park, and Lamoine Beach. All saltwater sites provide boat access to Frenchman's Bay. If you like golfing, Bar Harbor Golf Course is only 5 minutes away. Both portions of Acadia, (Mount Desert Island and the Schoodic Pennisula), and Bar Harbor are within a 15-20 minute drive. The town of Ellsworth is within 10 mins for easy access to groceries, gift shops, restaurants, movies, and even LL. Bean.

One is a secluded ocean front cabin with an open floor plan. Rough cut timbers and pine wood floors provide a very cozy feel. It has 2 bedrooms in the main cabin and a third private bedroom in a seaside bungalow style cabin. Outside the property has a covered screened in porch with a southern view of Racoon Cove with an outstanding vista of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. Both cabins sit near the shore and provide water access for kayaking, and exploring Raccon Cove. Relax by a beautiful babbling brook in the back yard.
The other is a ocean side cottage with a wonderful private sandy-gravel beach. It offers 4 bedrooms and three baths and will sleep 10.
Rent multiple units and save $100.00 on each rental per week.

Summary: I’m sorry to say that I did not appreciate the bugs and spiderwebs inside the windows when I opened up to get air. I Had to buy an air mattress because the downstairs bed was not only uncomfortable, but had very noisy bedframe

Summary: The cabin was roomy and comfortable. Close to 2 beaches and easy to get around. Quiet neighborhood with lots of wildlife. Some updates / fixes would be helpful but overall very nice.

Summary: This property was great. Clean, cute and roomy with all the touches to enjoy our stay. Big porch. Grill. Fire pit. The location was perfect for us. Close enough for all the sights but just outside it all for the "quiet" we were looking for.

Summary: The cabin was the perfect size for our family of 4 and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the outside decks & firepit as well as the peaceful surroundings. We explored Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park. Ellsworth, and saw fireworks from Marlboro beach. The only reason we gave a 4 star rating for cleanliness was because the microwave and some of the dishes/silverware had not been cleaned or not cleaned well which were minor issues. Otherwise, the cabin was clean. Overall, we enjoyed the location and would rent the cabin again.

Summary: We loved our stay here and hated to leave. The home is clean and bright. The bedrooms are all comfortable with plenty of room to store your belongings. The loft is cozy and a nice spot to curl up and read a book. The downstairs is open and spacious - which is fantastic if you have a larger crew with you! The porch/deck has plenty of seating for gathering. It is perfect for enjoying the quiet of the morning with your coffee, the sunrise, and neighborhood deer. A portion of the porch/deck is covered so you can sit out there on those rainy days or stay dry while grilling dinner. The yard is large and perfect for any outdoor games you might want to bring with you. The property is perfectly located off the beaten path, yet a short drive to Acadia and surrounding areas. After walking around town or long hikes in Acadia, it is nice to have a quiet and relaxing home to return to. Marlborough Beach is around the corner - it is not a traditional sandy beach so don't expect to set up a sand chair with the kids, but it is a great spot to catch the gorgeous sunsets while looking for beautiful rocks and shells (beware of mosquitos!) Nate was fantastic with communication, and I hope we have an opportunity to rent from Nate and Becky again. You won't regret your stay here.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Our granddaughter loved playing on the swing and slide. The yard was very large which was great for our dogs to play. Nate was very responsive when we had an issue with the microwave which turned out to be unplugged (that was embarrassing 😳). The porch was nice for morning coffee. Sadly we did not have an opportunity to use the fire pit.

Summary: Great cottage for tourists that don’t want to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Nate and Becky were great at answering any questions I had and provided a beautiful, clean, well maintained cottage! The outdoor space was perfect for morning coffee, daytime lawn games and evening fires! The beach is only a few miles away and was great to take walks and picnics, Bar Harbor and Acadia Park was just a 20-25 minute drive and the town of Ellsworth was perfect for shopping and had all we needed to make our stay comfortable.
