Beautiful newly updated 2 bedroom, 2 bath private home decorated in a modern Northwest style with amazing shower and peaceful fenced backyard. Quiet residential neighborhood with walkable streets. 3.5 miles to the "new" Vancouver Waterfront with winery tasting rooms, restaurants and parks. Portland is minutes away, and the beauty of the northwest is all around! The Columbia River Gorge, state and national parks, the Pacific ocean, lakes and waterfalls, are all with a few hours drive (or less) and waiting for you to explore! Wineries, fine dining, casino, fun dive bars, antique stores, golf, summer concerts in the park, mountain hikes, kayaking, waterfalls are all close (and I'll provide you a great locals list of recommendations!).
* 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath, open living area with cathedral ceiling. Well out-fitted kitchen and dining room with table that seats 6 and gorgeous marble island that seats 5. You'll love our coffee and waffle bar!
* Main bedroom has a king bed and additional bedroom has a queen. Recently decorated and outfitted with comfortable mattresses, pillows and comforters (duvet cover washed between guests).
* Huge (5x4 foot) shower was just remodeled with beautiful tile, a rain shower head, adjustable shower head, and 4 side shower jets (6 jets in total!). Luxury towels.
* Private fenced backyard with large covered patio, café lights, fire pit table, hammock, and both BBQ and Blackstone grills. Walking distance to Franklin Park (with playground equipment) and the Burnt Bridge Creek Trail.
* Washer and dryer. High speed internet and large flat screen TV with DirectTV and sound bar.

Pet fee of $100 (per dog, for up to 2 pre-approved dogs). Some breeds may be restricted due to insurance.
Notes: This is our personal home - I am an experienced host and it will have a true vacation rental feel - but there will be some personal items and closed off areas (part of the garage, some or the closets and cabinets). We can't guarantee internet/cable TV service since that is not within our control. House entrance has a ring camera that records outside audio and video 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please watch your dog in the yard - we can't guarantee that there will not be a place for them to slide under the fence. Coffee and other consumable items are provided for up to 3-5 days - guests for longer stays will need to re-stock these items. Master bedroom and main living area have mini-split heater/air conditioning units that work very well; additional bedroom incorporates fans and space heaters for our normally mild Pacific NW weather. Maximum of 4 adults and 5 guests total, $5 per night extra guest fee for more than 4 guests (per guest). $75 cancellation fee. . This is a wonderful quiet residential neighborhood with neighbors we know and love, please respect the house and the neighbors!

Summary: The location is a short drive to all Vancouver has to offer, but is far enough away to be a peaceful getaway. The home is well appointed and has lots of space to spread out. The beds are actually comfortable, which is hard to find in vacation rentals! Communication was great, easy check in/check out, we have no complaints!

Summary: I recently stayed at this lovely house in Vancouver, WA, and it was a fantastic experience! The shower was amazing—spacious and invigorating. The neighborhood is incredibly friendly and walkable, and there are several parks nearby that we enjoyed. I loved the coffee bar, complete with a Nespresso machine, drip coffee maker, and whole beans with a grinder—perfect for the coffee lovers in my family! The bright and inviting living room was a great place to relax. Highly recommend this place for a cozy getaway!

Summary: Three family members and 1 dog made the trip from Eugene to Vancouver WA to join the other half of our family for new year's weekend. At first glance, this house looked perfect for us, so I booked it. Booking went like a charm and Sheila was very communicative all the way through the process. She had been using an external service for the deposit, but when I got the daily notices to complete the form, I asked her about it. She apologized and said to disregard the messages. Ok! Upon arrival, we we amazed at how absolutely perfect this home was for our stay. The description was accurate, except everything was 100 times better than described! Because it's a dog friendly home, they provided all the necessities to help us help keep the dog comfortable while maintaining the home's cleanliness. Nice touch. The beds were extremely clean and comfortable, Shower in main bath indescribable with 3 walls of varied shower heads - each with full pressure even while on at the same time! There were also 3 comfy bathrobes for us as well. Lovely. The Nespresso and other coffee options made for a lovely wake up AND they provided everything for hot breakfasts, including a waffle bar, bacon, eggs, butter, and a variety of beverages. As well as full set of cooking utensils, spices, sauces, and more. The outdoor areas were partly covered for the rainy winter, and had nice plantings. Location was close to town and nature trails. I can't say enough positive! We felt right at home.

From the beautiful backyard to the great kitchen and living areas. Nice bedrooms and cushy linens! We plan on coming back!

Summary: We had a beautiful stay. We chose this property because of the central location which allowed us to explore both Washington and Oregon. Sheila and Scott thought of everything! We had everything we needed while away from home and more. The neighborhood is very quiet and the backyard is peaceful and full of beautiful plants and flowers. It was the perfect home away from home.
