Summary: We loved our stay at Cloudy Bay Cottage. It’s a lovely, large and comfortable home. The layout was spacious and the furnishings were unique, high quality and well done = very Carmel. The vast amount of books were nice as well, great library. I enjoyed sitting by the fire and perusing some of the books. Also, the management company was great! We had a minor issue that was resolved very quickly - very easy communication process and great service. We’ll be back again! Thanks

Summary: My family and I spent Thanksgiving week (2024) at Cloudy Bay Cottage and it was perfectly delightful! Such a great layout and room to spread out - we loved sitting to enjoy the charming fireplace, the kitchen and all cooking amenities were fantastic and that dining room is amazing! In addition, the bedrooms (and en-suite bathrooms) were great; spacious, comfortable and inviting. Anyone will enjoy staying at this great getaway!

Summary: Loved the property. Very clean, comfortable, and loved every aspect. There isn’t AC, which is common, but the breeze created by opening the windows helped lower the temp. They also provided fans for each room. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: The home was beautiful and clean. Great, quiet location. Short drive to restaurants in Carmel. I hope to stay here again, next time I'm in the area. I also appreciate that the check out process was easy.

Summary: This is a very unusual property. Very well kept, but not very "user friendly" The decor didn't fit the "Carmel" vibe at all. Chandeliers in just about every room except the kitchen, some very gaudy. 2 kitchens-long and narrow and a huge dining room table but only a full-size bed and a queen bed, so barely allowing for 4 people. There is a murphy bed downstairs in the family room, but no wall for privacy and no bathroom. You can only access the bathrooms through a bedroom. We utilized the backyard firepit area the most. We talked a lot about how we would have built the home to be more useable for family use.
